Why do robots often wobble around as they move? It turns out the two wheel differential drive is very popular, but it’s extremely limited in how it moves… leading to a wobbling motion plan that is not very trustworthy. Proxie was intentionally designed to move naturally around you. Our Glide 360 drive architecture uses four pivoting wheels to allow for incredibly precise and natural motion, working seamlessly with your staff and other robots.

3 out of 10 (or less) robotics pilots work. If you’re in ops, that’s bad. If you're a robotics vendor, that's bad. Time’s gone. Money’s gone. People remember. And next time you try, they’re thinking “nah, not again.” We partner closely to set them up so the first one works. We help enterprises pick the right parts, pick the right partners, handle the change. Those early wins build momentum and energy - a flywheel effect. And people are up for the next one.

The narrative around AI-driven workforce transformation often centers on cognitive labor: desk jobs like software engineers, accountants, lawyers. But in the physical world, we will also experience workforce transformation, with humans and machines working as partners in the manufacturing space. In manufacturing, we have a real need for intelligent machines and automation - from structural constraints in labor capacity, to the geopolitical consequences of offshoring, to the simple fact that many manufacturing jobs are physically dangerous and mentally exhausting. Brad Porter and the Cobot team are approaching robotics from the first principles question of what kind of relationship we should have with intelligent machines. To effectively bring in the automation we need to tackle these problems, we need machines that are safe, reliable, trustworthy coworkers. cc General Catalyst Paul Kwan Will McCreadie
