The "or" most startups don't realise they're being forced into. When a startup picks an AWS reseller, there's usually an unspoken trade-off hiding in the fine print: you get a resell discount on your AWS bill, OR you get to use Claude, powered by Anthropic. Not both. Access to Claude in Amazon Bedrock isn't available through every AWS reseller – which historically meant startups had to choose between their discount and their AI stack. Cloudvisor just removed that choice. We're now an Anthropic Authorized Reseller for Amazon Bedrock, which means our customers can run Claude in Amazon Bedrock via AWS Marketplace AND keep our 3% blanket discount on eligible AWS services, plus the usual CloudFront-specific discounts. What I find genuinely interesting about this from an R&D seat: many Anthropic integrations in the AWS ecosystem are focused on enterprise. Startups have historically been the ones experimenting hardest with Claude – building RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, evaluation harnesses – but getting the worst commercial terms.
