Need to get ahead of the next AG OEM audit? Start by cutting sludge out of the system. Phosphate pretreatment lines generate sludge quickly—forcing cleanouts, hauling costs, and chemistry adjustments that show up as variability in your data. Steelcote™ Zirconium takes sludge out of the equation. It runs phosphate-free in 3- and 4-stage configurations that hold steady across shifts. 4-Stage: Cleaner → Rinse → Steelcote™ → Rinse 3-Stage: Steelcote™ 1750 Cleaner/Coater → Rinse → Rinse Both meet agriculture OEM corrosion and adhesion requirements. Less oversight. More output. Stable performance that passes both audits and production demands. See how Steelcote™ makes it easy.

Want faster approval from top agricultural OEMs? It starts before you quote the job. For Ag OEM suppliers, the fastest way to accelerate onboarding is to use a system the OEM already recognizes. CPI’s Steelcote™ zirconium pretreatment is pre-approved across a wide range of Ag OEM paint systems. That means the performance data is already on file, and the chemistry is already trusted. For most Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, here’s what the transition typically looks like: 1. Coat panels with Steelcote™ in our lab. 2. Validate internally through your lab or with your OEM 3. Once validated, move into production with minimal downtime and no redesign. You don’t have to start from scratch. Request the Steelcote™ Spec Sheet and fast-track your OEM approval process.

Need to get ahead of the next AG OEM audit? Start by cutting sludge out of the system. Phosphate systems generate sludge that slows production and adds variability right when consistency matters most. Steelcote™ Zirconium takes sludge out of the equation. It runs phosphate-free in 3- and 4-stage configurations that hold steady across shifts. 4-Stage: Custom Cleaner →City Water Rinse → Steelcote™ → Ro/DI Rinse 3-Stage: Steelcote™ 1750 Cleaner/Coater → Rinse → Rinse Both meet agriculture OEM corrosion and adhesion requirements. Stop managing sludge. Start improving throughput.

Pretreatment isn’t supposed to feel like babysitting. But the more complicated the chemistry, the more attention it demands. Extra checks. Extra adjustments. Extra eyes on the process just to keep things steady. 👀 Steelcote™ Zirconium keeps pretreatment simple, steady, and—best of all—drama-free. See how Steelcote™ takes the complexity out of the process in today’s newsletter. 👇

Production shouldn’t have to wait on the lab. But that’s what happens when chemistry drags behind testing loops and approval cycles. CPI’s fast-track process keeps chemistry and production moving at the same pace, so progress on the line never slows to wait for the lab. See how we close the gap between lab and line in today’s newsletter. 👇

Still blaming the torch? Brazed joint failures don’t happen by accident. In automotive HVAC and heat exchanger lines, a burst joint almost always points back to something upstream — blocked clad flow, poor fit-up, or contamination on the parts before they ever reached the furnace. Here’s where the trouble starts: 1. Alloy mismatch → base and clad alloys that aren’t compatible stop proper joint formation. 2. Poor fit-up → gaps too tight restrict flow; too wide, and capillary action stalls. 3. Residues from the wrong lubricant → carbonized films block clad flow and prevent bonding. 4. Excess flux → creates porosity or “flux plugs” that fracture under thermal cycling. 5. Atmosphere leaks → oxygen or moisture shifts disrupt flow and weaken joints. On the line, everything looks fine. But under pressure, the weakness shows. That’s what makes brazing failures so frustrating…they feel unpredictable. But brazing failures are actually built in from the moment chemistry and furnace conditions fall out of sync. Want to see how to keep those failures from repeating?
