Webinar: Enabling science-based coating R&D by expanding the ingredient database through HT screening Reformulating again? Most coating labs are. Trial and error can’t keep up anymore. Formulators are reworking recipes more often than ever. Stricter rules on ingredients, cost pressure and the move to bio-based raw materials all land on the same R&D teams, usually with the same headcount and the same lab hours. Running more experiments isn’t the answer. Knowing which ones you can skip is. On 27 October, Sander van Loon, CEO of Van Loon Chemical Innovations (VLCI), joins us live. He’ll show how Hansen Similarity Parameters (HSP) combined with high-throughput screening make coating formulation more predictable. • How HSP gives binders, solvents, pigments, fillers and additives one predictive parameter to match, replace and bridge ingredients • Reported results: more than 10x fewer experiments, 10 to 100x time savings and over 10% lower costs • The world’s largest shared HSP database of commercial ingredients, updated monthly • How HT screening grows that database and speeds up the experimental validation of a DoE • Real case studies from coatings Every ingredient you characterise once makes your next formulation faster. How much of your next reformulation could you predict before you step into the lab? Two live sessions on 27 October, at 09:00 and 17:00 CET. Can’t make it? Register anyway and we’ll send you the recording. Register here: https://lnkd.in/exknhVtr #Coatings #FormulationScience #HighThroughputScreening #LabAutomation #RnD

Pharma / CDMO / CRO Analytics and QC Automation Workshop | 21 October | Basel (Allschwil) Your analytical instruments work. Your automation works. So why are samples still waiting? In many QC labs, the bottleneck is not the individual tools. It is the handoffs between them: • Samples are prepared, but scheduling is still manual • Instruments generate data, but data still has to be transferred by hand • Methods work in the lab, but often have to be recreated when transferred to GMP These manual handoffs cost time and make end-to-end automation difficult. That is what Chemspeed, Bruker Corporation and SciY will explore on 21 October: how automation, analytical instruments and software can work together as one QC workflow. We will cover: • Right-sized automation for at-line QC, including tablet testing for weight, hardness and content uniformity • Automated sample preparation connected to IR, Raman, benchtop NMR and LC-MS • Method transfer from development to GMP without starting over • Data integrity and traceability across instruments and data systems • Real implementation experience: what worked, what did not, and why 21 October | Switzerland Innovation Park Allschwil | 13:30–19:00 Two keynotes, a customer panel, live demonstrations and an apéritif to close. Want to see the systems running first? Join the morning visit at the Chemspeed HQ in Füllinsdorf. One registration covers both. Seats are limited. Throwback: Where Chemspeed Started, and Where We Stand Today Chemspeed was founded in 1997 with one clear mission: to accelerate, standardize, and digitalize laboratory processes through advanced automation, helping research-driven industries innovate faster, smarter, and more reproducibly. One belief shaped the journey from day one. R&D catalyzes society, and Chemspeed catalyzes R&D. In 1998, just a year in, we launched the Automated Synthesis Workstation (ASW). It became a turning point for modern lab automation and set the foundation for everything that followed. It also opened the door to application-driven collaborations with leaders across Life Science, Materials Science, and Consumer Goods & Performance Materials. More than 25 years later, that same spirit still drives us, now on a bigger stage. Since 2024, Chemspeed operates as part of Bruker Corporation while staying a vendor-agnostic business. Our platforms and self-driving / connected lab solutions bring closed-loop AI and robotics into everyday research, pushing autonomous experimentation forward across industries. The mission has not changed. The scale has. We are still doing what we set out to do in 1997: enabling reproducible science and transforming how labs operate across industries and academia. Webinar: Why Automated Sample Preparation? US FDA Case Study on Mycotoxin Analysis. Sample prep is where most food testing labs lose their time. Not the analysis. The prep. In mycotoxin testing, the bottleneck is rarely the instrument. It sits in the manual steps before it: dispensing, extraction, shaking, centrifugation, filtration, vial handling. Repetitive work that eats hours and quietly introduces variability from one analyst to the next. On 1 October, Kai Zhang from the FDA (Human Foods Program, Office of Chemistry and Toxicology) joins us for a live webinar on what happens when that work is handed to a robot. What he will cover, using a Chemspeed SWING SP workstation: • A patulin workflow running spiking, extraction, centrifugation and vial handling with no human hands, across apple juice and six apple-derived matrices • Recoveries of 89 to 114% with RSDs under 10%, down to a 4 ng/g LOQ • One modular system consolidating separate offline devices into a single multi-mycotoxin workflow for corn, milk and peanut butter • Two robotic arms handling prep autonomously before LC-MS/MS • Reliable accuracy on certified reference materials, not just spiked samples When skilled analysts are your scarcest resource, automating the prep is not about speed alone. It is about giving that expertise somewhere better to go. How much of your team's week still goes to manual sample prep? Join the webinar live on 1 October, 3 PM CEST. No problem — the webinar will be recorded, and everyone who registered receives the replay afterwards. #LabAutomation #FoodSafety #MycotoxinAnalysis #MassSpectrometry #Chemspeed

Upcoming Webinar: Smart scale-down meets lab automation - unlocking industrial robustness Date: June 4th, 2026 Session 1: 09:00 CEST Session 2: 17.00 CEST What the talk covers: Smart scale-down combined with lab automation strengthens the link between laboratory studies and industrial manufacturing. By mimicking industrial stresses at small scale, these studies enable rapid root-cause analysis and efficient resolution of recurring process deviations. Moreover, this approach directly supports the definition of operating limits and control strategies, forming robust, data-driven plans that ensure consistent performance at lab scale to manufacturing scale. Speaker: Hugo CAUFRIEZ, Sanofi France Guillaume Malcouronne, Chemspeed Technologies Register now: https://lnkd.in/eduEH_Zt

Your powder dispensing bottleneck isn't your scientist. It's the setup. Most labs still weigh out solids compound by compound, rack by rack. It's precise work, but it eats hours, and when a DoE runs 48 compounds deep, someone is stuck at the bench for most of the day. We added a Storage Extension to the CRYSTAL POWDERDOSE for exactly this reason. Here's what changes in practice: • Store and manage up to 48 ready-to-dispense solid compounds in one modular unit. • Dispense directly into vials or well plates, no intermediate transfer, no extra steps. • Walk away - the system runs unattended while your team focuses on the actual science. • Gradient and incremental dispensing built in, so DoE setups take minutes, not mornings. The result: fewer touch points, more throughput, and data that's quality assured from the start. High-throughput solid dispensing shouldn't require a full-time operator. What's the biggest time sink in your current solid prep processes? Share it in the comments. 🔗 Learn more about the CRYSTAL POWDERDOSE Storage Extension: https://lnkd.in/emvQGZKE
