Applications for the Wellcome Snakebite Innovation Prize close on 16 September. The £6.25m Wellcome Snakebite Innovation Prize is looking for innovators who can help improve outcomes for people affected by snakebite around the world. Many snakebite deaths are preventable, but too often people cannot reach the right care quickly enough. We're seeking practical solutions that can help close this gap, from strengthening community response and improving access to care, to supporting diagnosis and emergency treatment. You don't need to be an expert in all fields, you can be partnered with innovators across logistics, healthcare and emergency response. Learn more and apply today.

We can't build the cities of the 2030s using the supply chains of the 1990s. Incremental policy changes won't fix the built environment. We are designing the next multi-million-pound Longitude Prize to incentivize a radical leap in infrastructure. What if buildings were designed as zero-waste material banks? What if materials adapted to extreme heat without electricity? Review the shortlisted prize ideas for the built environment and help us set the challenge.
