If we know what’s good for our health, why is changing our behaviour so difficult? From internal motivation, social pressures, triggers in the environment and wider systems, there are many factors that influence how, and whether, we are able to change our behaviour. In this video, Nicola Lindson, Associate Professor at NDPCHS, and Angela DiFeng Wu, Senior Researcher and Lecturer, share how our Health Behaviour Change short course explores these complexities. Through an interdisciplinary and interactive approach, you will develop the knowledge and tools to understand the mechanisms driving health behaviours, critically evaluate evidence, and design, implement and evaluate interventions that can influence healthcare practice and policy. 🔔 Applications are now open for our next Health Behaviour Change short course 📅 2- 6 November 2026 ⏰ Application deadline: 12pm (UK time), Thursday 8 October 2026 Find out more and apply: https://lnkd.in/e6W_ZjGM
