Canadian Coalition of Women in Engineering, Science, Trades and Technology (CCWESTT)

Science, engineering, trades, and technology (SETT) industries are suffering from talent shortages. If we want our industry to grow, we need women and gender-diverse people to feel welcomed, safe, and valued? We need SETT workers (Science, Engineering, Technology and Skilled Trades), but if our system doesn't start working for everyone, people won't be able to work in our system. Find out how you can help remove barriers and create a system that works for everyone at CCWESTT.org/ReportCard/ #STEM #SETT #CCWESTT #SkilledTradesJobs #ScienceJobs #EngineeringJobs #TechJobs #Hiring #WorkersRights #Equality #WomenInSTEM

Diverse teams bring more to the table, but it's not enough to simply offer a seat. Women are twice as likely to experience workplace harassment, and for gender-diverse people, the risk is four times as high. If we want skilled workers to stay, we need to help them feel welcome. Comfort isn't a luxury. We need this to work.

How can we engage men as allies to end gender-based violence? Join CCWESTT for Stronger Together - a virtual panel to commemorate the beginning of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence.
