“It's been one of the best conferences I've ever been at.” We are honoured to receive such a generous endorsement from Dr David Cleevely CBE FREng FIET, one of the pioneers of the Cambridge tech cluster and one of the UK’s most respected voices in technology and innovation. A technology entrepreneur, investor and government adviser, Dr Cleevely has helped shape Cambridge’s innovation community over several decades. He co-founded Cambridge Angels and Cambridge Network and is the author of Serendipity: It Doesn’t Happen by Accident. Dr Cleevely reflects on reconnecting with old friends, making new connections and exchanging ideas with people who bring different perspectives to a shared purpose. Thank you, Dr Cleevely, for being part of our Second Edition and for your encouraging words. Our Tech for Good mission brings people together around a shared ambition to use technology to make a positive difference. #CambridgeForum2026 #TechForGood #Collaboration #Innovation

131 applications. Seven finalists. One stage. On 11th September at Cambridge Forum, seven exceptional companies will take to the stage for Pitch My Idea. Each has just seven minutes to present to an audience of UK and international investors, clinicians, researchers, academics, and policymakers. The finalists are: • BioHarv • BioTryp Therapeutics • CellCodex • Matresa • NeuroPath Biosciences • Polytecks • Reneural The quality of this year's applications was outstanding. We received 131 submissions from across the UK, including university spin-outs, exited founders, and grant-funded companies developing AI-driven innovations with the potential to transform healthcare. Selecting just seven was no easy task. Our judging panel, drawn from Cambridge Angels, St John's Innovation Centre Ltd, Wellcome Sanger Institute, and Google, had the difficult job of identifying the companies they believed were most ready to take the next step. We are incredibly proud of this year's finalists. Each brings a different perspective, but all share the ambition to use technology to improve health outcomes and create meaningful impact. Over the coming days, we'll introduce each company and the innovation they'll be bringing to the Cambridge Forum stage. 📅 10th and 11th September 2026 📍 Cambridge Corn Exchange, Cambridge, UK Register: https://lnkd.in/eHkDYMAT #PitchMyIdea #CambridgeForum2026 #HealthTech #Startups #Cambridge

Marty Neumeier, author of The Brand Gap, spoke at last year's Forum on How to Build a Strong Brand. His point was that most companies position around what they make, when the more durable ground is what they mean to the people who choose them. He took the room through his onlyness model and why loyal customers behave more like a tribe than a market. Short clip below. Thank you, Marty for joining us in Cambridge.

Dr Agnieszka Iwasiewicz-Wabnig FRSA, Director of the Maxwell Centre, spoke at last year's Forum about where we point AI. Her argument was that a lot of it goes on solving invented problems while the cost is not invented at all. Energy and water get spent either way. If the compute is going to be used, she would rather it went on education, healthcare, and sustainability than on holding people's attention. Thank you, Agnieszka Iwasiewicz-Wabnig FRSA for joining us at our first Cambridge Forum edition.
