The energy transition is creating jobs faster than the global economy - but skills shortages risk creating real constraints. The International Energy Agency’s World Energy Employment 2025 report released last week shows the global energy workforce has grown to about 76 million jobs, expanding twice as fast as the overall economy. The electricity sector including grids, power generation, storage and digital systems is now the single biggest source of energy-job growth. But without the right skills, project timelines and delivery can be at risk. Capital alone won’t build the next generation of energy infrastructure - people will. For EPCs and infrastructure builders, workforce readiness is becoming as strategic as engineering capability. Training, talent pipelines and cross-sector skills will determine whether projects move from ambition to reality. At Çalık Enerji, our history of workforce investment and expertise management means that we are positioned to deliver the technologies of tomorrow on-time and to the highest quality. Our expanding project portfolio is also bringing high-quality jobs to markets around the world. Ensuring the best workforce already shapes how we think about delivery - because resilient energy systems depend on resilient human capital. The transition won’t stall for lack of ideas. Skilled hands and expertise will deliver the transition, and we are playing our part. #EnergyJobs #WorkforceDevelopment #SkillsForTheFuture #HumanCapital #EnergyTransition #EnergyInfrastructure

At the International Symposium on Artificial Intelligence and Nuclear Energy in Vienna, leaders underscored how digital capabilities are now inseparable from the future of clean, firm power. AI in turn is accelerating reactor design, strengthening safety systems, and making advanced nuclear and SMRs more deployable, reliable, and cost-effective than ever before. Meanwhile in Central Europe, Poland’s grid operator and national armed forces signed a new agreement to protect high-voltage lines and substations from drone and sabotage threats - a stark confirmation that critical energy infrastructure must now be engineered for both climate and security resilience. And across Europe, new analysis this week on The State of European Power Grids warned that the continent’s rapid growth in wind and solar is outpacing its transmission capacity. The takeaway is that renewables alone cannot deliver energy security unless grids, supply chains, and construction capability scale with them. These three events highlight that the next phase of the energy transition will belong to those who can build secure, future-ready systems that can integrate advanced nuclear, digital intelligence, and resilient transmission networks with trusted EPC delivery. Çalık Enerji is operating at the junction of power systems, industrial infrastructure, and digital transformation. This moment affirms the vital role of partners who can turn ambition into real, reliable assets. The world is moving from vision to implementation. Smart, resilient, and secure infrastructure is where the energy future will be decided.
