The past 20 years rewarded efficiency at any cost. The next 20 will reward the ability to adapt. This recurring theme drove conversations at our Markets in Motion event during #ClimateWeekNYC. With supply chains, energy systems and markets all under pressure at once, the investors, corporate leaders, policymakers and philanthropists in the room had already moved past the question of whether to adapt. They were focused on finding the right opportunities and partners to build them with. What stood out: no single investor or type of capital can turn those opportunities into markets that scale. That takes real collaboration and commitment across the full capital spectrum. In a series of workshops, we dug into the barriers holding promising markets back and tested ways to move past them. Here’s what we heard over the course of the day, where we see momentum and where we are mobilizing capital now. Read the full piece here: https://lnkd.in/gnGfPQwn

Since 2021, Builders Vision has partnered with ECOncrete to bring their bio-enhancing concrete to commercial scale—an innovative technology that improves the strength of marine infrastructure while actively regenerating the ocean ecosystem. Today, that technology is being deployed in major projects from Rotterdam to New York City. Backed by a recent $14 million funding round that attracted significant institutional investment, they are proving that nature-positive infrastructure is ready for scale. In an era of increasing macro volatility, there's massive opportunity to drive long-term stability and create more resilient food and agriculture systems. By adopting sustainable practices, we can build a foundation capable of withstanding both market and environmental shocks. Scaling this transition requires collaboration. That's why Builders Vision and S2G Investments brought together global leaders from across the industry—including institutional investors, C-suite executives, early-stage investors and farmers—for a lively discussion on this topic. The goal was simple but ambitious: move beyond the "why" and get straight to the "how" of building a more resilient future. The consensus from the room was clear. No single investor or approach can drive this alone, it requires coordinated investment across the capital spectrum to accelerate adoption and fund the infrastructure needed to scale.
