The upcoming midterms will be unlike any in recent history. The outcomes will shape domestic policy, international relations, and global perception of U.S. democracy. News organizations around the world are already mobilizing to cover what will be a high-stakes, high-scrutiny moment. At Broadcast Management Group, Inc., we have spent more than two decades producing election-cycle programming, town halls, convention coverage, Election Day and night broadcasts, and inaugurations for domestic and international broadcasters alike. One thing is clear: trusted production partners have never been more critical. As planning ramps up, the same questions surface every cycle: - Which states will be most influential? - Which candidates will resonate most with audiences? - What formats best serve the story? - How do we cover multiple cities consistently? - How do we support live programming under intense timelines and scrutiny? These are not theoretical questions. They are operational ones. We saw this firsthand while supporting Al Jazeera Network’s U.S. election town hall series. Over four weeks, the production moved city to city—Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago, and Dearborn. Each stop required the same look, the same technical standards, and the same reliability, even as venues, crews, and local conditions changed weekly. That meant touring a custom-built set, managing lighting and video production, supporting live translation, and coordinating hundreds of crew members across multiple markets. To viewers, every broadcast felt identical. Same series. Different city. That is a realistic snapshot of what election coverage demands. The challenge is rarely about producing one show. The real test is whether you can: - Replicate a show across cities - Scale crews and infrastructure quickly - Maintain consistency under pressure - Adapt workflows without starting from scratch This is where centralized production models, REMI workflows, and experienced production management matter not as buzzwords, but as operational necessities. Election cycles compress timelines and raise the stakes. There is no margin for learning curves when the audience and the world is watching. As midterm planning accelerates, the question is not just who can produce the show, but who can carry it across markets, formats, and weeks without friction. That is the difference between a one-off production and an operation built for moments like these. See our Al Jazeera Case Study in the comments below👇

Space exploration history was made with the successful launch of Blue Origin's New Glenn rocket. 🚀 And I couldn’t be prouder of the role Broadcast Management Group, Inc. played behind the scenes. This was one of the most technically ambitious REMI productions ever executed — a true showcase of how far cloud-based live production has come. We brought together 50+ live feeds from across the country: - Cape Canaveral launch facilities - Mission Control in Kent, WA - Engine manufacturing in Huntsville, AL - New Shepard Launch Facility in Van Horn. TX - A barge in the Atlantic for the booster landing …all routed through our centralized Network Operations Center in Washington, D.C. Every frame, every angle, every transmission was managed using our proprietary REMI workflow, powered by BMG’s private cloud infrastructure. It’s this system — and the experienced crew behind it — that allows us to produce multi-city, broadcast-grade events with speed, scale, and unmatched reliability. This is REMI at scale. And it’s how BMG is helping reshape what’s possible in live production. Check out our new sizzle reel and case study to learn more about the mission: https://hubs.la/Q03WYLRz0

One of the most ambitious REMI broadcasts ever produced — all for one of the most historic rocket launches in recent memory. 🚀 For Blue Origin's New Glenn NG-2 mission, our team at Broadcast Management Group delivered a nationwide REMI production that brought together 50+ live feeds from four Blue Origin facilities across the United States(and one barge in the Atlantic) — all seamlessly integrated through our centralized Network Operations Center in Washington, D.C. Our crews supported everything from studio builds in Cape Canaveral to live feeds from Mission Control. Every camera, every angle, every element — delivered live across the globe. This is REMI at scale. Powered by BMG’s proprietary cloud-controlled workflow and executed by our experienced crew, this production let Blue Origin’s team stay focused on the mission—while we delivered the broadcast behind the scenes. 🚀 Satellite to VOIP: The Biggest Shift in Broadcast You’re Not Talking About Yet The rise of REMI didn’t just change how we produce live content—it changed how we move signals. When the pandemic hit, remote production exploded overnight. At Broadcast Management Group, Inc., we had already been building decentralized REMI workflows, but suddenly the demand for high-quality, low-latency IP transport went through the roof. And that pressure created innovation: 🔹 Connectivity improved 🔹 Latency dropped 🔹 Security hardened 🔹 New hardware/software ecosystems emerged What started as a REMI revolution has evolved into something bigger: a full-scale shift away from satellite and toward secure, resilient, broadcast-grade VoIP transmission—even for Tier-1 productions that were once done only on-site. And the impact has been massive: ✅ Lower carbon footprint ✅ Access to top creative/technical talent anywhere ✅ Reduced travel + operational cost ✅ Greater redundancy and resilience But here’s the real story… The shift is accelerating—fast. Today, major networks are moving their full-time transmission paths from satellite to IP. We’re talking: • 24/7 playout • Master control • Facility-to-facility connectivity • Global live transmission • Full remote operations This isn’t a future trend. It’s happening right now. At BMG, we see it every day: • Thousands of hours of live REMI programming through our DC NOC • Client facilities tied into our BMG Cloud Control Center™ via secure VOIP • Fully managed IP-based master control + global transmissions This is the new broadcast backbone. Whether you're a network, OTT/FAST channel, RSM, or enterprise brand, IP opens the door to more flexibility, lower cost, and higher quality—if you have the right infrastructure and the right partner. I'm curious to hear from my community: Are you already moving away from satellite? What’s been your biggest challenge—or biggest win—in shifting to IP transmission? Drop your thoughts below. 👇
