Ransomware groups use agentic systems to cut headcount and reduce insider liability, because criminals do not trust criminals. This makes them more efficient and harder to detect. However, ransomware is visible by design, as victims need to be aware that they have been breached. It remains the number one issue, with over 75% of cases driven by cybercrime: ransom, fraud and theft. Many victims are not specifically targeted; they simply left the front door open. In addition to ransomware, IT decision-makers should also pay more attention to threats that do not announce themselves.

AI is changing the capabilities of both attackers and defenders. Innovation often moves faster for attackers because they do not need to go through governance cycles. Cybercriminals can simply purchase a commercial AI subscription or experiment with other AI tools. They use chatbots to create phishing lures, exploit collaboration platforms, and increase the scale of deepfake scams during video calls. This creates an imbalance in maturity. In order to keep pace, defenders need data governance, risk assessment and a scalable response.

Transform threat insights into protection by strengthening identities, reducing exposure, modernising responses and preparing recovery plans. The biggest gains often come from doing the basics well: protecting identities with strong multi-factor authentication (MFA), reducing the real attack surface and keeping Active Directory, backups and recovery plans ready for ransomware scenarios. This briefing translates current threat insights into four practical actions: strengthening the front door, understanding exposure, building modern detection and response capabilities.

Geopolitical tensions are influencing cyber attacks. Join our Threat Briefing on current campaigns and intrusion patterns. Cyber risk is no longer just a technical issue. Geopolitical tensions, sanctions and the activity of nation states are influencing who is targeted, how attackers operate and where business exposure is increasing. In this Briefing, we examine recent campaigns and intrusion patterns across sectors, and consider what security and business leaders should be monitoring next.

Find out how attackers progress from gaining initial access to having an operational impact. Discover which sectors are vulnerable and why the risk of disruption is increasing. The picture behind the latest intrusion campaigns is practical: which sectors are under pressure, how attackers move from initial access to causing disruption, and where this disruption becomes a business risk. This Threat Briefing uses intelligence from TrendAI™ to provide a concise and balanced overview of current threats, real-world adversary behaviour, operational impact, and the role of AI.

Know the attacker playbook before it becomes your incident. Join our briefing for a clear view of the current cyber threat landscape. Cyber threats are easier to prioritise when leaders and teams in IT see the patterns behind them. Join our briefing which connects recent campaigns, sector-specific intrusions, attacker techniques from initial access to impact, geopolitical targeting, ransomware ecosystems, and AI-enabled capability. Hosted by Blue Cube Security, it gives a concise view of what is changing, where exposure is growing, and which actions to focus on next.
