Every server on a data centre campus depends on cables nobody sees. They run in trenches from the substation to the electrical yard, out to the mechanical yard where the cooling plant sits, and across the site roads in between. And those trenches get opened far more often than anyone plans for: during fit-out, when a new hall comes online, and whenever a fault has to be traced. With concrete lids, each job starts with lifting gear and a crew. With Fibrelite GRP composite trench covers, it starts with a lifting handle. Here’s what the range brings to a data centre site: 🔹 Single trench spans up to 1,675mm wide, plus double and triple runs using middle wall supports. 🔹 Side-locking roto-latches that fix to a stainless steel angle on the trench wall, and interlocking latches that lock each cover to the next one. 🔹 Restraining bolts with a standard Allen head, or a Tri Head that only opens with its dedicated key. 🔹 The service below is moulded into the surface, so nobody lifts the wrong run. 🔹 Made to fit precast, cast-in-place, or existing trench systems, including retrofits over failing concrete covers. Standard widths run from 300mm to 1,000mm and lengths from 600mm to 2,000mm. Anything else is made to measure, with fire-rated options, rain-tight modular covers, cable entries and inspection ports available. Planning a new build, or replacing tired concrete covers? A site plan or trench schedule is the quickest route to a quote. If the design is still moving, tell us the trench type, clear width, total run, and where vehicles cross, and our team will get back to you with options. The insurance upside. Insurers take wrong deliveries seriously. In the fuel distribution market, misdelivery is sold as its own named cover, and some underwriters set a separate limit for it. That shows they see it as a real, costly risk. It also tells you where the savings are. Premiums follow your claims history and how well you manage your risks, and Midas helps on both fronts: • Fewer incidents, fewer claims. Every wrong drop Midas stops is a claim that never reaches your insurer, the excess you never pay and a loss that never sits on your record. • A stronger story at renewal. An automatic shut-off on every delivery, backed by a log of every drop, is a much better answer to "how do you control this risk?" than training records alone. • Quicker answers when something is questioned. A clear delivery record helps settle disputes in days, not months. Every drop protected. Every driver backed up. Your drivers do their job well. They are also human. Midas ensures one tired moment at the fill point never becomes a closed forecourt, a pile of customer claims, or a harder conversation with your insurer. One wrong connection, and it can be a very long week. Ask anyone who runs a fleet of tankers or a network of sites, and they will tell you the same thing. Wrong fuel deliveries are rare, but when one happens, it is never just one problem. • The tank has to be emptied and cleaned before it can go back into service. • The pumps stay closed while that happens, and so does the till. Drivers fill up down the road instead, and some don't come back. • Customers who filled up first come back with repair bills. After one recent delivery in the US swapped diesel and unleaded between two tanks, a motorist reported around $1,100 in repairs, plus towing and a hire car on top. The local mechanic said bad cases could pass $3,000 per vehicle. • Then come the phone calls between the site, supplier, haulier and insurers about who pays. US fuel carriers have put the cost of these mistakes at tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars a year across a fleet. None of that money buys you anything. How Midas has your back. 1. It knows the tank. A small RFID tag at each fill point tells Midas the grade, tank, and site as soon as it connects. 2. It checks the fuel itself. Sensors inside the valve read the product as it starts to flow and compare it with what that tank should receive. Midas also spots water in the fuel. 3. It stops the mistake. If the fuel does not match, the valve closes before the tank is contaminated. The driver does nothing extra, and there is no charging routine. Midas tops up its own battery from the fuel flow during each delivery. See how Midas works at the following link: https://lnkd.in/evBZE4RU The Berrys Technologies Team

How many people does it take to lift a trench cover on your site? If the answer involves a crowbar and a sore back, the cover is the problem. Fibrelite Composites GRP composite trench covers replace heavy, corroding metal and crumbling concrete with something built to be handled safely: 🔹 Load ratings from A15 to F900 (BS EN 124), from footways to ports and aircraft pavements 🔹 Safe manual removal with the Fibrelite lifting handle 🔹 Will not corrode, crack or delaminate 🔹 No scrap value, so no theft 🔹 BSI Kitemark approved They fit an existing rebate or a Fibrelite frame, in standard or bespoke sizes. Berrys is the official Fibrelite distributor in the UK. Send us your trench dimensions and load class, and our commercial team will quote. https://berrys.com/contact hashtag#Fibrelite hashtag#TrenchCovers hashtag#GRP

A mis-fuel rarely starts with a careless driver. It usually starts with a busy day. Thirty drops on the schedule. A forecourt with four fill points that all look the same. A delivery window that’s already slipping. That’s when diesel ends up in the unleaded tank, and the costs arrive quickly: tank uplift, line flush, site closure, an insurance claim, and an awkward call with the customer. Industry estimates put a single incident at up to $100,000 once everything is counted. MIDAS is built so that nobody has to rely on getting it right under pressure. It checks the product, and if it's wrong, the valve stays shut. What happens at the fill point? 1. An RFID reader talks to a tag fitted at each tank’s fill point. The tag carries that tank’s programmed product specification. 2. Optical sensors inside the unit read the density and refractive characteristics of the fuel arriving and compare them with that specification. 3. A stepper motor moves a butterfly valve through four positions: shut, cracked open, drain open and fully open. No match, no flow. More than 5,000 MIDAS Elbows are already in service worldwide. If you deliver or receive fuel, our commercial team can help you choose the right configuration for your fleet or site and put together a quotation. You know that split second when a delivery goes from routine to “everyone stop”? That’s the moment Midas is built for, the difference between a smooth shift and a nightmare of contaminated tanks, angry customers, and eye-watering cleanup bills. When every second feels like slow motion, your drivers don’t need more pressure; they need a system that simply refuses to let the wrong fuel in, so you can breathe easier every time the tanker pulls up. Your forecourt needs Midas. https://lnkd.in/eSrXisrW
