60%. That's how many supply chain disruptions Gartner predicts will be resolved without human intervention by 2031. Today, almost none of them are. The CEOs who get to 60% don't cut their way there. They diagnose their way there. Every missed SLA, every retry shipment, every credit on the monthly close shows up twice. Once as a cost. Once as a customer who doesn't come back. The number you're not closing is the time between the two. How long it took to know the disruption happened. If your operations team cannot tell you, inside 24 hours, why the biggest SLA miss this month missed, the diagnosis layer is the gap. That gap is where customer loyalty quietly leaves. CEOs running D2C or marketplace P&Ls, does your dashboard show you the root cause of last week's biggest miss? Yes or no in the comments.

Deloitte's Q1 2026 CFO Signals survey just put a number on what every operator already feels. Supply chain disruption is now the #1 external worry for North American CFOs, jumping from 35% in Q4 2025 to 52% in Q1 2026. The number that matters more is the one CFOs are not yet ready to say out loud. Every supply chain disruption that hits the P&L this year had a root cause buried across systems your finance team cannot see and your ops team cannot investigate fast enough. Most CFOs I talk to are reaching for the same playbook: tighter budgets, slower hiring, more cautious capex. None of those moves close the visibility gap on why fulfillment fails. The real cost is showing up as SLA credits, retry shipping, write-offs, and churn that the finance close cannot attribute correctly. The 52% number is going to keep climbing as long as ops teams are still investigating maybe 50 failures a week and generating thousands. The leverage is not in the budget. It is in the diagnosis layer. At Beamup, that is what our agents do. We correlate signals across WMS, TMS, OMS, and other data sources, diagnose root cause, and drive the fix before the SLA miss and the revenue write-down. For finance leaders in the CFO and CSCMP CSCMP - Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals communities, where are you currently seeing the biggest gap between what the supply chain team reports and what shows up in your monthly close? Curious to hear. https://lnkd.in/eefxPSzd

Gartner just forecast that supply chain management software with agentic AI will grow from under $2B to $53B by 2030. The number that matters more: 60% of supply chain disruptions resolved without human involvement by 2031. That second stat is the one to watch. It's not about spending on AI. It's about whether AI actually closes the loop on the problems it finds. Most supply chain AI today still ends at a dashboard or an alert. The gap between detection and resolution is where value leaks out. The companies pulling ahead are the ones automating that entire cycle. At Beamup, that's exactly what we're building. Not smarter alerts. Autonomous resolution. What's your read: is the industry ready for AI that acts, or are we still a few years from trusting it? https://lnkd.in/dqSm2G-c
