For Dr. Samantha Dannehy, DVM Director of Veterinary Quality for the Chicago North Market, having a strong mentor early in her career was game changing. Yes, it helped her grow her medical skills and build confidence—but it also shaped the kind of veterinarian she aspired to be. Now, she’s paying that experience forward. “I knew how much that mentor developed me and made me the veterinarian I am today, and so I want to bring that on to somebody else.” Today, Dr. Dannehy is dedicated to creating that same supportive, empowering environment for the doctors she works with — helping them grow, trust their abilities, and feel confident in the care they provide. Here’s to the leaders who guide, inspire, and lift others up. And here’s to Dr. Dannehy for showing what that looks like in action.🧡 #BanfieldCareers #BanfieldPetHospital #ABetterWorldForPets #ProudlyMars #MarsVeterinaryHeath #VeterinaryMedicine #UnitedInCare

November is National Adopt a Senior Pet Month, and we know that older animals in shelters can often be overlooked. Sometimes, shelters see senior dogs adopted at half the rate of their younger dogs and puppies. This month, we’re teaming up with rescue dog owner Dylan Efron to spotlight six amazing senior pets at shelters across the U.S., covering adoption fees and providing them a full year of preventive care with our Senior Optimum Wellness Plans. In addition, Royal Canin will provide six months of tailored nutrition. We’re excited to celebrate the special bond and unique joys of senior pet ownership and help to make their care just a little bit easier and more affordable. Follow along on Instagram @BanfieldPetHospital to see our six adoptable senior pets! #BanfieldPetHospital #AdoptASeniorPet #SeniorPetMonth #BanfieldPartner

This week, we’re celebrating our remarkable leaders… Practice Managers! 🧡 At Banfield, practice managers play a vital role in every hospital’s success. They bring positivity, flexibility, and support to their teams each day, creating an environment where Associates can thrive and clients are supported. Whether they’re navigating complex schedules, mentoring staff, supporting doctors, or comforting clients and pets alike, practice managers do it all with grace and grit. They can switch roles in a heartbeat, and through it all, their leadership uplifts us all. They're truly our "cats who wear all the hats." 😸 To every practice manager: thank you for the impact you make, the care you lead with, and the difference you create every day for your teams, clients, and pets. 🫶 Happy #PracticeManagerWeek 🧡 #BanfieldPetHospital #VeterinaryMedicine #Leadership #Teamwork #BanfieldCareers
