You have about 10 weeks left to lower your 2026 tax bill! Our tax-planning capacity is nearly full, but a few spots are still available. Here is what you get: • A review of your income, entity, and deductions • A written plan with strategies you can still implement before December 31 • A CPA who documents it with you November 10 is the last day we accept tax-planning clients for 2026. Don't wait until March to ask what you could have done. Book a call with me, and we'll see if it's a fit: https://lnkd.in/earFNpTW/?utm_campaign=Boost_Post_VideoViews_Oct28,2026&utm_source=linkedin&utm_medium=paid&utm_id=1243860414&hsa_acc=513726288&hsa_cam=1243860414&hsa_grp=905961704&hsa_ad=1617705234&hsa_net=linkedin&hsa_ver=3

December 31 locks in most of your business's 2026 tax bill, and there are about 11 weeks left. A few deductions also have hard year-end deadlines. New equipment has to be placed in service by December 31, which means set up and ready to use. Signing the invoice or taking delivery isn't enough if it's still in the box. If you're on payroll and want to make 401(k) salary deferrals for 2026, they need to come out of your 2026 paychecks. If you own more than 2% of an S corporation, the company has to pay or reimburse your 2026 health insurance premiums and include them in your W-2 wages for you to be able to deduct them. Check with your payroll provider before the last payroll of the year. All of this is easier with clean books. It's hard to plan around numbers you don't trust, and good records are what support your deductions when you file in 2027. If your books are behind, get them caught up first. Request a Q4 tax planning meeting with our team. We'll look at where your year is headed and tell you what needs to happen before December 31. The link is in the first comment below ⬇️

If your first tax conversation of the year happens in March, most of your options are already gone. Your tax return reports what already happened. Many of the moves that can lower your bill have to be made before December 31. That includes putting new equipment in service, reviewing how you pay yourself, and timing major business decisions. The planning window is open right now, and our calendar still has room before year-end. Book a tax planning call with Brittany. The link is in the comments!

If your business keeps growing, one role rarely covers what you need. Your CPA's tax knowledge sharpens the CFO's planning. The CFO's operating view gives the CPA better raw material to work with. When they're on the same team, they trade what they know. When they're at three different firms, you're the courier. Watch how it usually plays out. An owner outgrows the bookkeeper and hunts down a CPA. A few years in, they need more, and so they go looking for an advisor. They end up with one at another firm. Every jump means starting over. Re-explaining the business to a stranger who's learning it from scratch, while you pay them to catch up. That's the tax we built Attracct to eliminate. We can help you at the start: get your books clean; get your taxes filed. As the decisions get heavier, we add advisory, then CFO work. It's possible to have the same people the whole way. The person modeling your next twelve months already knows the bet you made three years ago and how it played out. Most firms hand you one of these three and leave you to find the other two when you outgrow them. We would rather grow the relationship as you grow the company, so the person who knows your numbers in year one still knows them in year seven.

If you're planning to hire a new CPA or tax strategist for your 2026 return, now is the time to start interviewing who you want to work with. Waiting until the new year is waiting too long. By then, the good ones are booked. Choosing the person who touches your books and your tax bill is a big call. Interview candidates now, when you have time to compare answers instead of grabbing whoever still has capacity at the eleventh hour. Ask what specific deliverables they produce. Ask what happens when you call them on a deadline with a decision on your desk. We're taking meetings now for 2026. DM me to get on the calendar.

New on the blog: CPA vs. Tax Preparer vs. Fractional CFO. Most owners call us asking for a CPA. Plenty need something else, or all three at different points as they grow. So we mapped what each role does, the stage of business it fits, and how to spot which one your company needs today. Wondering if you've outgrown your current financial setup? Read it, then book a consult if you want help placing yourself.
