Financial services was the #1 breached industry in 2025. Your clients' wire transfer instructions live in your inbox and attackers know that. They're patient. They're methodical. They're already inside the sector. Here's the prevention checklist built specifically for advisors.

Just a few weeks into SEC Reg S-P. Examiners are active, documentation gaps are surfacing, and BEC remains the costliest attack on financial advisors by a wide margin. Our BEC Attack Prevention Checklist covers the technical controls, the procedural guardrails, and the documentation an examiner expects to see. Built for small-to-midsize advisory firms. Free.

Wire transfer fraud doesn't need malware. It only needs one convincing email. Financial services was the #1 breached industry in 2025. We built a BEC Attack Prevention Checklist specifically for RIAs, CCOs, and managing partners, and it doubles as a starting point for your SEC Reg S-P documentation (in case you're behind). Free. Audit-ready. Download below.

SEC Regulation S-P has been in effect since June 3. Small advisory firms now need a written information security program, documented access controls, an incident response plan, and vendor due diligence records. The firms struggling in examinations are the ones who can't prove what they have. Don't be like them. Read the breakdown of what examiners are actually looking for, and how to close the documentation gap before they ask.

H2 starts in two weeks. CMMC. Reg S-P. DSO expansion. PE exits. The plan, in five pages. And the second half is where IT decisions get expensive, or pay off. CMMC Phase 2 hits in November. SEC Reg S-P is already enforceable. DSO expansion windows close in Q3. PE exit timelines start their countdown now. The H2 2026 Technology Planning Guide walks through the compliance deadlines, financial windows, and strategic decisions that shape H2. Five pages. Real examples. No filler. Download below.

The conversations I’m having with dental practices now look nothing like five years ago. The independent owner used to call about a server crash. Now they’re calling about whether their IT will hold up if they take the meeting with the PE firm. The two-location group that wanted faster Wi-Fi is asking how to standardize across four offices they’re acquiring this year. The DSO that was happy with break-fix support is hiring a vCIO and asking what their roadmap should look like 18 months out. Thriving dental practices are operating like growth companies and their questions about IT are finally catching up to that reality. The problem is that most practices are still asking the old questions: - “Is our backup system running?” instead of “Have we actually restored from it?” - “Do we have antivirus?” instead of “If a breach hit one office, does it cascade to all of them?” We wrote these new questions down here: https://lnkd.in/gpm-sBCJ No scorecard. No sales pitch. Just the questions worth sitting with before you sign the next lease. #DentalPractice #DSO #ITStrategy
