Health systems are about to make Kodak’s billion-dollar mistake. Medicaid cuts are coming. And the traditional playbook won’t save you. For years, leaders have tried to “bend the cost curve.” But here’s the hard truth: → Cost-cutting can’t offset billions in lost reimbursement. → Primary care, once a “loss leader,” is now a cost burden. → Incremental strategies won’t move the needle. This is a 𝗞𝗼𝗱𝗮𝗸 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 for health systems. Remember Kodak? They invented the digital camera… then ignored it. They clung to the old model until it collapsed. That’s exactly where many systems are today. Two paths are left: 1. Reinvent your revenue model with premium, high-margin offerings. 2. Or keep squeezing pennies until the entire model breaks. And here’s the nuance most miss: premium care isn’t elitist. It’s the margin that sustains the mission. The future of healthcare won’t be saved by nostalgia. It will be saved by innovation. I started Amenities Health after serving as VP of Digital Health at Baylor. We’re now partnering with leading health systems to launch white-labeled, membership-based care programs that unlock $10M+ in 100% margin revenue and loyal patients. If membership or concierge-style digital care is on your radar, I’d love to get your feedback on what we’re building. Send me a direct message and let’s connect.

Every health system I talk to is bracing for the same storm: Medicaid cuts, shrinking margins, and tens, sometimes hundreds of millions in projected shortfalls. But here’s the part we don’t talk about enough: There’s a $𝟯𝟬𝗕 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 growing right beside them that most systems earn $𝟬 from. It recently dawned on me that healthcare is driving on a two-lane highway while a brand-new third lane has opened and no one’s merging into it. 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝟭: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲 Medicare, Medicaid, regulations, reimbursement cuts — the traffic is thick, slow, and unpredictable. Some systems have 40–50% Medicaid populations. When the “one big beautiful bill” cuts hit, they’re staring at $50M–$500M shortfalls. This lane is congested. It’s not clearing anytime soon. 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝟮: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲 Better reimbursement, but also tightening. Volume-dependent, operationally strained, margin-thin. You can only drive faster if you hire more, build more, and spend more. This lane is slowing too. 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝟯: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘂𝗺, 𝗼𝘂𝘁-𝗼𝗳-𝗽𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗻𝗼 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 It’s wide open. It’s growing. And it’s already carrying $𝟯𝟬𝗕 in spend: • Concierge care • Virtual-first access • Advanced diagnostics • Out-of-pocket memberships Patients are shifting lanes on their own, paying directly for speed, convenience, and clarity. Health systems are still in lane 1 and 2… wondering why traffic isn’t moving. Executives don’t see the third lane because it feels unfamiliar. It feels “nontraditional.” It feels like it sits outside the mission. But, the reality seems to be that the market didn’t shrink, it shifted lanes. That’s where a $99/month membership changes the game. It lets systems merge into the premium lane 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁: • abandoning insurance • cannibalizing existing clinics • or building new infrastructure It simply captures revenue that patients are 𝘢𝘭𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘺 spending elsewhere. If $30B is shifting into a new lane and health systems stay in the old ones, that isn’t fate. It’s a blindspot. The future advantage belongs to the systems that merge first. Because the third lane is already open and the traffic is moving without you. I started Amenities Health after serving as VP of Digital Health at Baylor. Your patients are quietly choosing care elsewhere. Here’s how the best health systems keep them loyal. Every health system talks about leakage. But leakage isn’t the problem. It’s Loyalty. Patients don’t see a meaningful difference. When everything feels interchangeable, patients shop around. Diagnostics. Specialty visits. Surgeries. Loyalty is the last, best margin strategy in healthcare. Over the last several months, I sat down and studied how the world’s most beloved brands, like Apple and Google, and the top-performing health systems create loyalty by design. Healthcare can do the same. I’ve written an executive briefing: The Loyalty Blueprint for 2026: How Health Systems Build Patient Relationships That Drive Margin, Retention & Revenue. It’s a concise, high-impact read for health system executives exploring new revenue engines and keeping high-value patients. 📩 Comment LOYALTY below, and I’ll send you the briefing.

There’s one question I love hearing from health system leaders. It usually comes right after they see the data, when the tone in the room shifts. “𝘖𝘬𝘢𝘺… 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘤𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘺 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘴. 𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘸𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘦𝘹𝘤𝘭𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘵𝘺?” That’s my favorite question. Because it means we’ve crossed the line from 𝘀𝗸𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆. At first, most conversations start with the predictable hurdles: “How will this be perceived?” “What will my medical group think?” “Will this really work in our market?” But the moment a leader asks about exclusivity, everything changes. They’ve stopped evaluating the idea. They’ve started envisioning 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲. It’s like being at a new restaurant that no one’s heard of yet. At first, you’re just trying to decide what to order. But halfway through the meal, when you realize the food is incredible, your instinct isn’t to ask about the ingredients, it’s to ask: “𝘊𝘢𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘢 𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘹𝘵 𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘬 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘥 𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘴 𝘰𝘶𝘵?” That’s exactly what happens here. When health systems see how the premium healthcare market works, the one where patients pay directly for access, convenience, and diagnostics, they realize two things: 1️⃣ They’re not currently participating in it. 2️⃣ Their competitors will, soon. It’s a $30B market hiding in plain sight, the same number projected as the shortfall from upcoming Medicaid cuts. In other words, the revenue you’re about to lose already exists. You just haven’t claimed it yet. That’s why exclusivity is on the table. Because we want our partners to have a 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲, a position that can’t easily be replicated once the model starts working in their market. When leaders start asking “How do we own it?” instead of “Does this work?”, you know they’ve stopped looking at innovation as a risk and started seeing it as a strategy. Exclusivity isn’t about control. It’s about conviction. If you’re serious about unlocking $10M+ in pure profit over the next 10 months without adding staff, facilities, or tech - here’s the truth: You’re likely sitting on that opportunity right now, inside your own patient base. Most health systems are. If you’re skeptical — good. You should be. So here’s your next step: see it for yourself. DM ‘YES’ - I’ll review your publicly available financial numbers + geography to show you how to do that. - You’ll see exactly how much pure-profit upside your system is sitting on and how to capture it. 90% of health systems are cutting costs to survive Medicaid while the top 10% are quietly unlocking a new $1B+ revenue opportunity. Here’s the opportunity. Patients are already spending billions out-of-pocket for faster care, better access, and concierge-level service. But almost none of that revenue flows through traditional health systems. Here’s what’s possible: → $2–10M in pure-margin revenue from patients you already serve → $100M+ in downstream specialty & surgical volume → No new headcount. No new buildings. No infrastructure overhaul. I’ve written an executive briefing: Premium Healthcare in 2026: The New Revenue Model for Health Systems It’s a concise, high-impact read for health system executives exploring new revenue engines. 💬 Comment YES below and I’ll send you the briefing.

A Hospital CEO realized his patients could generate an extra $60M in pure profit - it all started with 1 question. “How many patients do you serve annually?” “200,000,” he said. Here’s the math that flipped the room: → 25% (50,000 patients) would pay for premium access. → At $100/month, that’s $60M gross annually The room went silent. Then he started listing what $60M in pure profit could do: → Keep rural clinics open → Expand uncompensated care → Buy the MRI machine they’d postponed for years → Serve more Medicaid patients That was the breakthrough. It wasn’t about wealthy donors or the top 1%. It was about 1 in 4 of his current patients. People who already trusted him. They were asking for better access and experience. This revelation hit him: While he was cutting services to survive, his patients were willing to fund the mission. If you're like the many healthcare execs we speak with, you’re facing: → 1–3% margins (or worse) → Medicaid cuts looming → Growing cost pressures I started Amenities Health after serving as VP of Digital Health at Baylor.
