Today we’re proud to launch our Menopause in the Care Sector report, in partnership with Care England. At alsico, we recognise that #MenopauseMatters. Last year, we brought together carers, sector leaders, and menopause advocate Diane Danzebrink to talk about what menopause really means for those working in care. That discussion led to new research with 410 care home workers across the UK. This research forms part of a wider industry report from alsico — coming soon — exploring not just menopause, but training, respect, and motivation across the UK care sector. Our latest Menopause in the Care Sector report, launched today, reveals three key areas where small changes can have a big impact: 🏨 workplace adjustments 📝 policy awareness and access 👚 uniforms designed for comfort This World Menopause Day, we’re proud to share new insights — and practical recommendations — to help care organisations take meaningful action. A huge thank you to our experts involved in the report: Deborah Garlick at Henpicked, Gail Manley at Abbeyfield, and Sara Catanzaro at alsico UK. 🔗 Read the full findings here 👉 https://lnkd.in/eUaQETxG #MenopauseAtWork #MenopauseMatters #MenopauseReport #MenopauseInCare #CareSector #EmployeeWellbeing
