Define Your North Star 🌟 When you’re building a product especially an MVP, it’s easy to get lost in features, deadlines, and endless feedback loops. That’s where the North Star comes in. Your North Star is the one guiding goal that keeps your team aligned and focused. It’s not about vanity metrics or wishlists. It’s about the core outcome you’re trying to create for users. Example... For Spotify, the North Star isn’t “number of downloads.” It’s time spent listening to music. For Airbnb, it’s not “new listings.” It’s nights booked. For a healthcare app, it might be patients successfully completing an appointment flow. Health progress. Vanity check. Overall process optimisation. Anything based on your product vision. A good North Star has three traits: ✅ Clear → Everyone on the team understands it. ✅ Measurable → You can track progress against it. ✅ User-Centric → It reflects the real value your users get, not just what you deliver. 💡 Ask yourself: If everything else went wrong, what’s the ONE outcome that would still mean success for our product? That’s your North Star. 🌟 Would you like me to also create a step-by-step framework you can use with your team to actually define and validate your North Star for your healthcare projects? DM me. Let's talk!

🎨 When does a product need a UI/UX Redesign? . . To determine if it's time to redesign your UI/UX of your platform, evaluate your key performance metrics. 📌 Consider asking: 1. What are users' opinions on your current platform? 2. What aspects do they enjoy or find frustrating? Additionally, before starting the redesign, investigate any market trends that might render your design outdated. Compare your app with those of your competitors. ✅ Some of the top reasons to Redesign: 1. Poor user reviews 2. Low retention rate 3. Low conversion rate 4. Competitors with better UI/UX 5. New market trends So, you have decided to redesign based on the research. Now what are the best practices and processes to be followed? ✍🏽 Step-by-Step process: 1. Evaluate Current Design (UI/UX Audit) 2. Set Clear Goals 3. Conduct User Research 4. Create User Personas and User Flows 5. Develop Wireframes 6. Design Interactive Prototypes 7. Iterate and Refine Designs 8. Test Usability of Final Design 9. Involve Executives in Decision-Making 10. Hand Off Design and Begin Development 11. Launch Redesigned Product 12. Test and Collect Feedback for Refinements Need help with a Redesign? Let's evaluate your current design. Book your free UI/UX Audit today! https://lnkd.in/gmsNhmiN #WellnessWithAlchi

Here’s the trap most founders fall into when building an MVP 👇 They start with a feature wishlist: 1. Login 2. Dashboard 3. Notifications 4. Profile 5. Settings …and so on. But here’s the problem: Users don’t care about your feature list. They care about whether they can achieve their goal. That’s why you should start by mapping user journeys, not feature lists. 👉 “A patient books an appointment in under 3 clicks.” 👉 “A doctor uploads notes without retyping everything.” 👉 “A caregiver can track medication reminders without confusion.” Features are the tools. Journeys are the experience. When you design around journeys: ✅ You remove friction. ✅ You align with real outcomes. ✅ You stop wasting time building features no one uses. 💡 Next time you’re planning your MVP, ask: What’s the simplest path for my user to succeed? That’s your roadmap, not a bloated feature list. What do you focus on more, features or journeys? 👇 #WellnessWithAlchi

Users don’t hate change; they hate unnecessary change. Think about it... When a redesign makes life easier → users LOVE it. When a redesign changes things just to “look modern” → users revolt. The problem? Many teams update UX for the wrong reasons: ❌ “It looks outdated.” ❌ “Our competitor launched a new design.” ❌ “It’s been a year, we need something fresh.” Here’s what users really care about: ✅ Can I complete my task faster? ✅ Is it easier than before? ✅ Does this feel familiar enough not to confuse me? 💡Pro tip: Before rolling out a redesign, test it against actual user goals. If the new version adds friction, that’s not innovation, it’s interruption. Looking for a meaning UX revamp your users want? Drop me a message!
