AGFA HealthCare was delighted to connect with clinicians and imaging professionals at #UKIO2026 this month. As always, it was a great forum for open discussion - across both the clinical sessions and the exhibition floor - on the realities of day-to-day #imaging workflows. Networked radiology continues to come up in almost every conversation. While the model has evolved - from early collaborations to today's imaging networks - the challenge hasn't fully gone away: many organisations are still working across multiple systems that don't yet feel truly unified. The ambition is clear - to support seamless care across organisations. In one discussion, Paige Ward, Product Owner for #Radiology, spoke with a #radiologist who put it simply; they don't necessarily need a single system for all connected hospitals, but they do need systems to work better together. Workflows to feel truly connected, simplifying how work is managed across what are still largely siloed worklists, and enabling collaboration beyond organisational boundaries. That continuity has a clear impact not just for clinicians, but also for operational teams, and ultimately, patients. Paige's question to the wider community: with traditional, single-site systems still prevalent, how do we support more modern ways of working? 🙋Let's hear from our communities. #EmpowerImaging #ConnectedCare #ConversationsThatMatter

The future of Enterprise Imaging will not be defined by one capability alone. It will depend on resilient architecture, embedded intelligence, orchestrated workflows, seamless collaboration and a more complete view of the patient journey—all working together to reduce friction and keep clinicians focused on the work that matters. In the final installment of Imaging in Flow: The Clinical Leadership Series, we bring together the ideas, insights and customer experiences explored across eight installments. Swipe through the recap to see how Enterprise Imaging is evolving from a system for managing imaging to an environment that helps care teams connect context, coordinate work, and keep clinicians in flow.

Radiologists are often asked to make decisions from a single study while the patient story is scattered across sites, systems and years of care. In the final article of Imaging in Flow: The Clinical Leadership Series, Beyond the Snapshot: Why Imaging Needs a Longitudinal Intelligence Layer explores how connecting prior imaging, clinical information and follow-up can help clinicians see what has changed, reduce manual searching and work with a more complete view of the patient. Because the study is one moment. The patient journey is continuous.
