“The Afreximbank MANSA Expolink Training was a true masterpiece.” For Lady Gracetiti Fredson and NiWAB, the programme marked a turning point in how they approached agricultural exports. The shift came from one simple but powerful insight: understanding which crops the market truly demands. Once that clarity was in place: - Strategy replaced uncertainty - Contracts replaced assumptions Today, NiWAB is entering agreements with a leading processor to develop dedicated farms for high-demand cash crops. But this isn’t just one story: It reflects what’s possible for agribusiness leaders across the continent. When farmers are equipped with the right expertise, practical tools and support: - They create jobs - They scale production - They contribute to stronger local economies The MANSA Expolink Training reaffirmed an important truth: Africa’s agricultural talent has always existed. What made the difference? Clear direction and a platform that turns potential into tangible results.

A Decade of Purpose. A Legacy of Impact. At a deeply moving Staff Townhall in Cairo, Prof. Benedict O. Oramah delivered his farewell as President and Chairman of Afreximbank - closing a defining decade of leadership that reshaped the Bank and reimagined Africa’s place in global trade. From a team of 142 in 2015 to nearly 500 today, his tenure has been a story of growth, courage, and conviction. Under his leadership, Afreximbank built transformative instruments that now define Africa’s economic architecture — Pan-African Payment & Settlement System - PAPSS, the AfCFTA Adjustment Facility, Fund for Export Development in Africa (FEDA), ATTF, the African Medical Centre of Excellence (AMCE), and more. “Ten years ago, we spoke about aspirations. Today, we are celebrating achievements.” With humility and pride, Prof. Oramah thanked the Afreximbank team whose dedication made this transformation possible. “A General is only as good as the army he commands. I couldn’t have wished for a better army.” And with the conviction that has guided his journey, he left us with words that will continue to inspire generations: “If it is possible, it will be done. If it seems impossible, it can be done.” As he hands over the baton to Dr. George Elombi, we celebrate a visionary whose love for Africa turned ambition into achievement - and whose legacy will keep lighting the path ahead. Thank you, Prof. Oramah, for showing Africa what belief can build. #Afreximbank #Leadership #Legacy #ProfOramah
