A little more courage to take the next step When business owners consider joining AddLife, we explain that our decentralised model sets clear expectations: local leaders continue to run their own businesses, drive initiatives, and maintain commercial momentum. What AddLife provides is support. One owner described it well: “We know we have to do the work. What we expect from AddLife is a little more courage.” For many family businesses, making investments on your own can feel risky. With AddLife behind you, you have room to act, learn, and move forward while staying responsible for your company. This is especially relevant for manufacturing companies with proprietary products, where long-term ownership can help protect what makes the business unique while supporting the next phase of growth. “That combination can give entrepreneurial companies the confidence to invest, develop and grow over time,” says Therese Wilson, Vice President, Homecare at AddLife. Therese’s practical, people-first approach reflects how AddLife supports business owners: with respect for the company, its people, and what they've already built. #AddLife #Entrepreneurship #LifeScience #OwnershipTransition #BusinessGrowth #AddLifeFamily #Manufacturing #ProprietaryProducts

Finding the right long-term home for your business When a founder considers selling, the numbers matter, but so do people, culture, and the company's future. In a recent acquisition process, Nathan Pettitt, Vice President Hospital at AddLife, spoke with an owner who was exploring different types of buyers. The key question was simple: could the owner look employees and the local community in the eye two years later and still feel they had chosen the right long-term owner? At AddLife, we take time to understand the company, meet its people and ensure the cultural fit is right. Our aim is not to change what already works, but to preserve the entrepreneurial spirit while adding the structure, experience and resources needed for continued growth. “AddLife can offer a long-term home where a strong business can belong and continue developing,” says Nathan Pettitt. Nathan’s industry experience, deep understanding of the AddLife model and genuine care for people and culture make him a trusted partner for entrepreneurs considering the next step for their business. #AddLife #Entrepreneurship #LifeScience #OwnershipTransition #BusinessGrowth #AddLifeFamily #Medtech #Acquisition

Today, AddLife AB Group are pleased to announce the acquisition of Pharmacold A/S, a leading Danish specialist in refrigeration technology and service for the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. Pharmacold will become a subsidiary of Holm & Halby A/S, a leading supplier of laboratory equipment in Denmark. This acquisition aligns perfectly with our previously communicated strategy to strengthen the service and own product offerings. The company brings extensive experience in managing critical low temperature installations for the pharmaceutical and research sectors, where stable operation and documented quality are essential. The Pharmacold team will contribute complementary products and services to leverage our existing market position as a bolt-on acquisition. Pharmacold are a great strategic fit to Holm & Halby and strengthens AddLife’s presence in the Danish Life science market segment and will be included in the Biomedical & Research business unit, a part of the Labtech business area. Welcome Pharmacold A/S team to the AddLife family. (Link to press release in comments below) #AddLife #WeareAddLife #AddLifefamily #Growth #Acquisition
