Acacia Center for Justice

Over 200 individuals have reached out with interest in our Witness For Justice (W4J) program! This court observation* initiative brings visibility to immigration court proceedings—drawing the stories, struggles, and disappearances of immigrants out of the shadows and calling on individuals across the country with or without legal expertise to bear witness to the state of our system and its implications for real people. We are overwhelmed with gratitude for this wave of interest in W4J and thrilled to launch our pilot program. Want to join the groundswell? Email [email protected] to get involved. *Please note: W4J is a court observation program, it does not promote the intervention of courthouse arrests.

Wondering how and where you can support vulnerable immigrant groups right now? In every city listed here, there is an Acacia partner organization helping unaccompanied kids, who are children that arrive in the US alone for circumstances outside of their control, seeking protection. The members of our Unaccompanied Children Program (UCP) network are working tirelessly to protect the rights of children, and they could use your help. Locate the organization nearest you with our UCP map, and join the movement pushing for justice. https://lnkd.in/erPXG6vQ

Lawyers like you fight to protect due process for unaccompanied kids who make harrowing journeys to seek safety in America.

Lawyers employed in the Unaccompanied Children Program provide free representation to unaccompanied kids to fight to protect due process. Will you join us?

If you feel called to do something in this moment of heightened attacks on immigrant rights, the Unaccompanied Children Program is your answer.

Kids make harrowing journeys to America all alone, but our immigration system does not meet their courage with compassion. You can break that cycle.
