2degrees

We have spent more than 15 years building an amazing mobile network – and sometimes you need to do something bold to get people to experience it for themselves. Today we launch a free 7-day trial – offering people with eSIM compatible phones the chance to give our network a whirl – with a healthy allowance of 15GB of data, 500 minutes of calling and 100 SMS for 7 days. Signing up is simple: eligible users with a mobile service with another telco can activate their free eSIM online in minutes - no store visit or physical SIM card required. And because eSIM lets you run two numbers on one phone, you can test the 2degrees network without missing a single call or text to your usual number. It’s pretty clever tech! Give it a crack and let us know what you think. The 2degrees Free 7-Day eSIM Trial is available to people in New Zealand who aren’t currently 2degrees customers and have a mobile service with another telco, until December 22nd. Phones keep us connected, entertained, and inspired, but for families, finding the right balance between connectivity and the impact of social media on young minds is a growing challenge. This morning, Emma-Kate Greer, our Chief Customer Officer, joined Ryan Bridge on Herald NOW to discuss 2degrees’ long-standing commitment to promoting healthier, safer, and fairer phone use through the Fairer Phones Project, and our proud sponsorship of the One Young Mind podcast, which explores the neuroscience and real-life experiences of growing up online. New episodes of One Young Mind drop every Tuesday until Christmas on iHeartRadio, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and other major platforms.
