𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗠𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗖𝗔 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘂𝘀𝗲? Every year, MEDICA generates thousands of conversations, hundreds of business cards and probably more branded pens than anyone knows what to do with. But how much of what you pick up at a trade show actually helps you when you get back to the office? This year, we wanted to do things a little differently. 😉 🎡 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗹! Visitors and exhibitors will be able to take a spin and win something useful, including: • A complimentary digital marketing audit • Campaign setup support • A strategy session • Practical digital marketing and AI resources • And a few surprises 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗱 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘂𝘀. ☕ We’ll also be bringing something a little more substantial to the stand. Over the past few months, we’ve been putting together a 𝗳𝗶𝘃𝗲-𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀, covering: • Product launches and the changing digital customer journey • Building a digital strategy around exhibitions like MEDICA • GEO and getting found in AI search • Why video and visual content matter in MedTech • AI in Healthcare & MedTech Marketing - what to automate, what to augment and what to keep human The idea isn’t to give you another long whitepaper to download and forget about. We’ll have a 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱, and you’ll be able to find out how to access the full series if you want to explore any of the topics in more detail. Because there’s a lot changing in marketing right now. AI is changing how people search, how campaigns are built and how content is created. But good marketing still starts with understanding people. Who are you trying to reach? What do they need? What will make them stop, pay attention and take action? And where should AI help - and where should a human make the decision? That’s what we’ll be talking about at MEDICA. So, if you’re exhibiting or attending this November: 🎡 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗹. ☕ 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘂𝘀. 💬 𝗢𝗿 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼. 📍 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝟭𝟲, 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝟭𝟯-𝟳. Because the best thing you can take away from MEDICA might not be another branded pen. 𝗜𝘁 𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗮 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴.

Your MEDICA campaign shouldn’t start when MEDICA starts. It sounds obvious, but after a decade of running exhibition campaigns, the biggest mistake we see is brands treating an event as a one-week marketing activity. The stand is booked. The brochures are printed. And then, two weeks before the event, someone asks: 𝘚𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘸𝘦 𝘳𝘶𝘯 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘓𝘪𝘯𝘬𝘦𝘥𝘐𝘯 𝘢𝘥𝘴? By then, it’s usually too late. If you’re investing heavily in Düsseldorf, your digital strategy needs to be working 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲, 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁. Here are three things you can do to get more from your investment: 𝟭. 𝗗𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗳𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲. With hundreds of exhibitors competing for attention, a great stand doesn’t guarantee that the right buyers, clinicians or distributors will find you. Your target audience is deciding which companies to visit weeks before they arrive. LinkedIn, search, email and ABM can help build awareness and start conversations before the event. The goal isn’t just to get people to notice your stand. It’s to give the 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘁. 𝟮. 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗲. A hospital decision-maker, distributor, clinician and potential partner all have very different needs. Sending paid traffic to a generic homepage can lose conversions before the conversation even starts. Instead, use a dedicated exhibition landing page with a clear, single action, such as booking a meeting or reserving a demo slot. 𝟯. 𝗗𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻. The stand comes down, business cards go into a spreadsheet, and follow-ups start… eventually. The most successful brands treat the show as the 𝗺𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆, using pre-planned email sequences and retargeting to keep the momentum going. The best exhibition campaigns aren’t really about the stand. They’re about everything you build around it. If you’re exhibiting at MEDICA this year, ask yourself: 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻?

This November, we’ll be attending MEDICA for the third year in a row. As I was looking back at our first two years, I realised something. The most valuable thing we’ve gained from MEDICA wasn’t a new marketing tactic, a new AI tool, or even a new client. It was conversations. When we first exhibited, we quickly became the unexpected presence in the hall. People would walk past our stand, read the sign, pause, read it again, and then ask: “𝘞𝘢𝘪𝘵... 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 𝘋𝘪𝘨𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘬𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘺 𝘥𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘵 𝘔𝘌𝘋𝘐𝘊𝘈?” 🤔 And honestly, that’s what made it so much fun. Because that question often led to much bigger conversations. • Not about Google Ads. • Not about analytics. • Not even about Digital Marketing. But about growth. About 𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 into new markets. About 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲 from trade shows and events. About 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝗛𝗖𝗣𝘀, 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝘂𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 more effectively. About understanding whether their 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 is actually delivering results. Over the past two years, we’ve spoken with many Healthcare and MedTech companies exhibiting at MEDICA. And despite operating in different countries, different specialties, and different stages of growth, many of the conversations come back to the same questions: • How do we stand out in an increasingly competitive market? • Are we reaching the right audiences before, during, and after events? • Do we really know which channels are driving enquiries and opportunities? • How do we scale internationally without wasting budget? • Where can AI help, and where does human expertise still matter most? The technology keeps evolving. The questions don’t change as much. And perhaps that’s because, whether we’re talking about medical devices, diagnostics, digital health, or digital marketing, success still comes down to understanding people. That’s what I’m looking forward to most at MEDICA this year. Not just seeing the latest innovations on display. But, hearing the conversations behind them. Because sometimes the most valuable insights don’t come from another presentation. They come from a good conversation. Are you attending/exhibiting at MEDICA this November? 𝗜’𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁, hear what you’re working on, and continue some of those conversations over a coffee. ☕ If you’re there, come and say hello - I’m always up for a good conversation.

One of the most rewarding client relationships we’ve started this year didn’t begin with a sales pitch. It started with a conversation at a conference. The company had grown quickly. They already had someone looking after their Google Ads and Analytics, and they weren’t looking to replace them overnight. What they were looking for was confidence. Confidence that they were measuring the right things. Confidence that they were investing in the right channels. Confidence that their digital marketing could scale with the business. So instead of talking about what we could do, we suggested something different. A complimentary consultancy session. Together, we reviewed their Google Ads and Analytics setup. The goal wasn’t to point out mistakes or criticise previous work. It was simply to answer one question: '𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲?' We uncovered a number of opportunities. Some were quick wins. Some required longer-term investment. But perhaps more importantly, we identified where their digital strategy needed to evolve, not just optimise. Over the following months, we’ve worked together to: • Improve campaign structure and performance across Google Ads • Fix analytics and conversion measurement to provide reliable data • Build the foundations for expansion into channels like LinkedIn, XING, and programmatic advertising • Develop a strategy that supports the entire customer journey, not just the last click Have we doubled results overnight? No. What we are seeing is something much more valuable: • Better quality data • Higher quality traffic • Better quality leads • A digital strategy that’s built to support long-term growth For me, that’s what good digital marketing looks like. Not chasing quick wins. Building a strategy that grows with the business. Sometimes the most valuable thing you can offer isn’t another campaign. It’s clarity. ⸻ Following the conversations we had at HLTH Europe, we’re still offering a complimentary Digital Marketing & Analytics Consultancy for this year’s attendees. If you’re wondering whether you’re making the most of your current digital marketing efforts, we’d be happy to review them with you - no obligation and no hard sales pitch. I spent a fantastic few days in Amsterdam talking with healthcare leaders, innovators, and marketers at HLTH Europe. As expected, AI dominated many conversations. From patient care to operational efficiency, everyone is exploring how AI can transform the way we work. But, one thought kept coming back to me throughout the event: 𝗔𝘀 𝘄𝗲 𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗽𝘁 𝗔𝗜, 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻’𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵. Whether we’re engaging patients, supporting HCPs, or building trust with healthcare professionals, technology should enhance human connections—not replace them. The same applies to Digital Marketing. Many of the organisations I spoke with are investing heavily in digital channels. They’re running campaigns, publishing content, exploring AI tools, and building sophisticated digital experiences. Yet when we dug a little deeper, a familiar challenge emerged: 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝗻’𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴. Healthcare marketing operates in a uniquely challenging environment. Strict compliance requirements, limitations around tracking, and growing concerns around data privacy mean that many teams are making important decisions with incomplete information. At the same time, there’s an overwhelming number of AI tools promising better results, faster workflows, and deeper insights. But before adding another AI platform to the stack, it’s worth asking a simpler question: 𝗗𝗼 𝘄𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆? The brands that will succeed won’t necessarily be those using the most AI. They’ll be the ones that combine smart technology with a genuine understanding of their audiences and a human-centred approach to engagement. That’s why we’d like to continue the conversations started at HLTH Europe. As a one-off offer for attendees, we’re providing a complimentary Digital Marketing & Analytics Consultation. Together, we’ll explore: • What’s working across your digital channels • Where the measurement and attribution gaps are • How users engage with your website and content • Opportunities to improve performance while remaining compliant • Practical ways AI can support your marketing efforts without losing the human element No obligation. No hard sales pitch. Just an opportunity to get an independent perspective from a team that spends every day helping healthcare and medtech brands get more from their digital marketing. 👉 Click below to book your free consultation and let’s discuss how to combine AI, data, and human insight to drive better outcomes. https://lnkd.in/eAqY_3wp

After analysing millions of patient interactions, one pattern became clear: 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝘀. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱. In high-consideration healthcare categories like diabetes care, patients rarely convert after seeing a single ad. Before they take action, they need clarity. They need reassurance. And most importantly, they need to understand how a solution fits into their daily lives. Too often, digital strategies start at the wrong point in the journey - pushing conversion messages to audiences that are still trying to make sense of complex technology. What we’ve seen instead is that education-first strategies fundamentally change performance. When patients are first introduced to complex healthcare technology through clear, accessible content - particularly video - they spend time learning rather than scrolling past. That understanding builds familiarity, and familiarity builds trust. Only then does behaviour start to shift. • Engagement increases. • Return visits grow. • Search intent appears. And when patients finally begin researching solutions, performance channels like paid search start to work dramatically better because the audience already understands what they’re looking for. In our recent multichannel campaign focused on diabetes care, a connected approach delivered: • 𝟵.𝟮 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 patients reached • 𝟯.𝟭 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 educational video views • 𝟱𝟮𝟮,𝟬𝟬𝟬 website visits • 𝟭,𝟯𝟬𝟬+ high-intent conversions The breakthrough wasn’t a better channel. It was a better journey. Video built understanding. Social reinforced trust. Search captured intent at the moment of decision. For MedTech brands, this raises an important question: Is your strategy educating patients - or asking them to decide too early? In healthcare, conversions are rarely about the ad itself. They happen when patients feel informed enough to take the next step. Education creates that confidence. And confidence drives action. The question for MedTech leaders isn’t which channel performs best, it’s whether your strategy builds understanding before demand. Read the full case study here 🔗 https://lnkd.in/e_PfpXSF
