At Walmart Canada, meaningful design often begins with small choices that make a big difference. 🎄This year's Tinsel Town collection – an assortment of ornaments, bath accessories, tabletop décor, and bedding – features a charming character designed in-house by our talented Product Designer, Alicia Jocson. At first glance, it’s fun and festive. Ravikumar Pandya initially saw Walmart as a short stop along the way to a career in business accounting. He joined Walmart 15 years ago as a part-time associate in one of our distribution centers. Now, as the Assistant General Manager at our new Vaughan Ambient Distribution Centre (ADC), he’s leading teams at our most advanced distribution facility. Transferring from a conventional warehouse to the automated Vaughan ADC brought new challenges. "I asked so many questions!" he recalls, and says he leaned on the support of his General Manager, Ken Illingworth, and mentor Alice Lo, PMP. “They made me feel at home. We’re proud to introduce a new Autoimmune Medication Care Program to support Canadians living with autoimmune conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn’s disease, and ulcerative colitis. Our specially trained pharmacists can help manage medications, monitor for side effects, provide injection support where available, and work closely with prescribers and Patient Support Programs. This enhanced care for autoimmune disease patients is now available at 70 Walmart pharmacies across Canada, with a national rollout coming later next year. With 84% of Canadians living within 15 km of a Walmart Pharmacy, this new program brings more personalized, accessible care to patients in urban and rural communities.
