I’m proud to see the Volvo 9700 return to Europe. The conversations we’ve had with customers last week reinforced the importance of offering choice and flexibility in a changing market. In recent years we reshaped our business in Europe to become more focused, flexible and competitive. Now we are taking an important step forward with a stronger coach offering for our customers. Together, the Volvo 9700 and Volvo BZR Electric CD give operators the freedom to choose the solution that best fits their business, whether they are looking to grow with proven efficiency or take the next step into e-mobility. And beyond the vehicles themselves, we work closely with customers to tailor complete solutions that help them run competitive and sustainable businesses. This is another milestone in our ambition to grow in the European coach segment and strengthen our position as a trusted partner for our customers.

Great to welcome a familiar favourite back to Europe: The Volvo 9700! ⭐️ Welcoming customers to Gothenburg last week and seeing them experience our coaches firsthand made this a particularly rewarding week. The return of the Volvo 9700 is an important milestone. It’s a coach that many operators know, trust and have been asking for. But ultimately, customers don’t come to us just to look for a coach. They come looking for solutions that help them run a better business! Whether that’s through the Volvo 9700, the Volvo BZR Electric CD or services tailored to their operation, our role is to understand their needs and help them succeed. I am looking forward to continuing the conversations we started last week as we grow our coach business together!

Volvo Coach Showcase 2026; what a week here in Gothenburg. Fantastic to see Volvo engineering and our partners’ expertise creating more possibilities for coach operations in Europe. Seeing customers explore the vehicles, ask questions and experience them on the road brought months of development and collaboration to life.
