Most artist-led MoA vendors use incomplete PDBs — missing loops, absent transmembrane regions, no interaction evidence — then assemble them like LEGO and call it your MoA.

A $70K animation plus 80-100 hours of your team teaching the vendor science and pushing through multiple iterations is no longer a $70K animation.

You found an MoA vendor with a low quote — then your team spent 70-100 hours teaching them science through endless iterations. You may have paid twice for the animation.

Would you ask artists to present your MoA story to investors or HCPs? Then why let an artist-led studio — not a PhD-led team — shape that story for your animation?

Check out our new High-End 3D MoA animation for Circle Pharma. See the full case study: https://lnkd.in/eMAhFm7g When the mechanism is differentiated and complex, visualization is what translates scientific fidelity into target-audience understanding. This was the communication challenge the clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company Circle Pharma, Inc. faced. Circle Pharma needed a ~90-second MoA animation for corporate communications and investor relations. The goal was to explain a differentiated cell-cycle mechanism: blocking cyclin function rather than directly inhibiting kinases, and the downstream cascade that disrupts cell-cycle progression. Challenge: cell-cycle biology is difficult to visualize with scientific fidelity because it involves large multiprotein assemblies, chromatin, replication machinery, and tightly regulated phase transitions. At the same time, the story had to remain readable without collapsing into a generic “drug blocks target” storyline. Our approach was a dual-layer build: 1️⃣ High-end 3D for the core molecular story, using our science-grade modeling and simulation for key structures and interactions, including cyclin and CDK complexes, as well as replication and chromatin elements, while maintaining structural credibility. 2️⃣ A 2D infographic layer to orient viewers through phases, checkpoints, and disruption points, so the multi-step cascade remains easy to follow. We went through multiple script and storyboard revisions with the Circle team to keep the mechanism accurate, differentiated, and clear. Because this High-End 3D style involves science-grade molecular modeling, the 90-second animation required a slightly longer production timeline than the standard 6–8 weeks—an additional 2 weeks—including 5 client review rounds. Feedback ⭐ 10/10 Ben Tsao, Director of Clinical Science “Visual Science is able to provide scientifically accurate and aesthetically pleasing animations… They are not creating a simple animation, but rather telling a story to accompany our journey in developing meaningful treatments for patients” We’d like to thank Ben Tsao, Michael Cox, Lisa Kopp, Pablo Garcia, and the broader Circle Pharma team for the fantastic collaboration throughout!

The MoA animation on the large-scale linear DNA manufacturing platform developed by Linea RX and Applied DNA Sciences (APDN: NASDAQ). https://lnkd.in/dyADzRSD — see a full case study. We managed to produce this two-minute (comparatively long) animation in just 5 weeks. It combines 3D and 2D style molecular modeling of a complex enzyme and its interaction with DNA. Thanks to our new expedited production option, the animation’s production timeline was 3 weeks less than our internal benchmarks for such animations, and 5-7 weeks less than you can typically expect in the MoA animation market. This could be a game changer for clients with tight deadlines. We'd like to thank Clay Shorrock, Esq. and the Applied DNA Sciences team for the great collaboration and very kind feedback. FEEDBACK: 🌟 9/10 Clay Shorrock, Esq. Chief Legal Officer and Executive Director, Business Development. Applied DNA Sciences "Visual Science produced an excellent product on time and within budget. The produced visuals are stunning and very accurate. We look forward to working with Visual Science again in the future”
