🏆 A proud milestone for VIETTEL DIGITAL TALENT! In 2026, Viettel Digital Talent (VDT) was recognized in the Best Selecting and Onboarding Interns category at the Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards - a prestigious international award in Human Resources and Talent Development. This also marks the first time a “Made in Vietnam” internship program has been recognized at the awards. The achievement reflects the model VDT has built: a selection process closely aligned with real workforce needs, a structured learning journey, dedicated mentorship from experts, and opportunities for students to work directly on real technology projects at Viettel. What makes this milestone even more meaningful is that VDT was recognized alongside internship and early-career talent programs from organizations across the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Türkiye, India, Azerbaijan, and the UAE. 🌏 This recognition is more than a milestone for VDT. It also shows that young technology talents can access high-quality, well-structured, and internationally recognized internship opportunities right here in Vietnam - gaining hands-on experience, strengthening their capabilities, and building a solid foundation for their future careers.

“The right career isn't about discovering a new passion, it's about finding the place where everything I've been passionate about comes together” For Nguyen Trung Huy, that place was Flight Dynamics at Viettel Aviation Technology Center - VATC. Long before joining VATC, Huy was a student of Aviation Engineering at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, spending much of his time in the Computational Fluid Dynamics Lab (CE-group) and Intelligent Aerial Vehicles Lab (BK-IAV). Beyond coursework, he wrote research papers and explored personal projects, driven by a simple curiosity: How does an aircraft actually fly? The deeper he learned, the clearer his interest became. Flight Dynamics, a field still emerging in Vietnam, brought together everything he enjoyed most: mathematics, physics, and programming. When he came across an internship opportunity at VATC, it felt less like applying for a job and more like finding a place where those interests could become real engineering work. The timing couldn't have been more meaningful. Around the same period, Huy also began his graduation thesis on Flight Dynamics. Instead of separating academic research from industry experience, the two journeys complemented each other. Real engineering problems at VATC broadened his perspective beyond textbooks, while his research strengthened the way he approached technical challenges at work. His graduation thesis later received the Best Thesis Award of the Graduation Council, but for Huy, the greatest achievement was realizing how theory and practice could reinforce one another. However, the journey wasn't without challenges. Balancing an internship with a demanding graduation project became overwhelming at one point. Huy even considered leaving VATC to focus entirely on his thesis. Looking back, he recalls that what kept him going wasn't a dramatic turning point, but a simple piece of advice: don't walk away from the connections you've built. Choosing to stay gave him the opportunity to keep learning alongside experienced engineers, gradually building both confidence and capability. Today, Huy continues his journey at VATC as a Flight Dynamics Engineer. More than a transition from intern to full-time employee, the experience has reshaped how he approaches engineering, not simply solving technical problems, but understanding how knowledge, collaboration, and continuous learning come together to create technologies with real impact. For Huy, the most valuable lesson isn't that he found his dream job. It's that he found an environment where curiosity is encouraged, challenges accelerate growth, and passion can evolve into a long-term career. 🚀 Explore career opportunities at Viettel Aviation Technology Center - VATC and discover where your own journey can begin now: https://lnkd.in/g5vBPCq

“One of the greatest things Viettel has given me is the chance not to be torn down by failure, but to grow through it.” For Dung Do Manh, Deputy General Director of Viettel Digital Finance (VDF), that belief became real during one of the most challenging projects of his career. In early 2026, Halopesa 3.0 - an e-wallet platform serving millions of users in Tanzania - officially went live. Dung was responsible for the technical side of the project. Almost immediately, the system was hit by a series of technical incidents. Transaction points across the country quickly filled with customers trying to access their money. Then came an even more alarming report: the system showed signs of a potential loss of nearly VND 20 billion, alongside discrepancies in customer balances. If the figure was real, the consequences would extend far beyond the financial loss itself. For a financial platform serving millions of users, the incident could carry serious legal and operational implications. Yet at that moment, Dung was not thinking about what the incident might mean for his own position. Instead, he sat down with the team and calmly questioned how the earlier figure had been calculated. It turned out that the initial counting method was incorrect. Once the data was reviewed again, the actual discrepancy was far smaller and could be brought under control. It then took Dung and the team 56 intensive days to fully restore and stabilize the system. What could have become one of the most difficult moments of Dung’s career ultimately became a very different kind of milestone. Rather than being doubted for the incident, Dung was later recognised as one of Viettel’s outstanding individuals for the way he led the team through the crisis - a recognition he himself felt belonged just as much to the people who had stood beside him throughout the journey. The experience gave him a deeper understanding of what it means to grow at Viettel. For Dung, being given room to grow does not mean that failure carries no consequences. It means that when people take on difficult challenges, they are encouraged to face what goes wrong, learn from it and keep moving forward. Looking back, Dung realised that some of the greatest opportunities for growth at Viettel had come from exactly those moments: when the challenge was real, the risks were high, and there was no easy answer.
