The new EnVentus V182-7.2 MW starts with a clear customer need: producing more energy from every turbine and every installed MW. Its 89-metre blades create a 182-metre rotor. With a 12% larger swept area compared to the V172, the V182 captures more available wind, particular in low to medium wind speeds. The result: ✅ Between 4% and 6% higher Annual Energy Production, depending on site conditions ✅ Up to 3% lower Levelised Cost of Energy ✅ A higher capacity factor and more stable production profile ✅ Greater generation during higher-value hours This is not simply about producing more megawatt hours. 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ On Global Wind Day, we’re celebrating installing 100 of our V236-15.0 MW turbines at sea globally. The milestone 100th turbine was installed at ORLEN S.A. and Northland Power Inc.’s Baltic Power offshore wind farm. Once complete, the project will consist of 76 turbines with low-emission steel towers and will amount to around 1.2 GW of homegrown European energy. With V236 projects underway off the coasts of Germany, Poland, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, we are proving something important with our customers: offshore wind is Europe’s fastest route to greater energy independence.
