I don't post much, but this is worth sharing. I recently joined Vega IT in the Netherlands. Sjoerd van Gelderen, the managing partner at Emakina during my 8 years there, is now building out the Dutch market for Vega IT, and asked me to come along. This isn't a leap into the unknown. I've known and appreciated Vega IT for many years. During my time at Emakina we collaborated on many projects and even built the 150+ FTE strong Emakina in Serbia together. I also introduced Vega IT to a startup and a few others in my network a few years back, unprompted. That's probably the most honest endorsement I can give. We're here to build long-term partnerships, not just deliver code. We're serious about the Dutch market and I'm excited to be a part of it.

Almost 18 years ago, Vega IT’s very first client came from the Netherlands. That first engagement grew into a global company with more than 900 engineers. In honour of that original spark, orange became Vega IT’s corporate colour—and it has remained so ever since. In March we officially started Vega IT in The Netherlands. Now in April we are expanding the team. Super happy I will be working again with two of the most brilliant people in the industry. Seth van der Maas - my former partner with Emakina.NL - and one of the few people that actually get AI - joins Vega IT as Principal Data & AI Strategy. I am really thrilled with the prospect working with him again. Sven Gude - Emakina.NL's former Head of Development - is joining Vega IT as Operations and Development Lead. Basically building out the local team (and that includes agents yes). Equally thrilled working with him again. By combining our local presence in the Netherlands with almost 1,000 brilliant minds in our development centers in Serbia, Montenegro, and Nigeria, we have the ability to truly deliver. And not only shipping digital solutions, but about building real partnerships that deliver meaningful business outcomes.
