At Toyota South Africa Motors, we believe in driving progress - not just on the road, but in the economy. That’s why we’re proud to champion the 2025 Durban Automotive Cluster (DAC) SME Accelerator Programme, a transformative initiative designed to empower emerging suppliers and strengthen South Africa’s automotive supply chain. Through this powerful partnership with the eThekwini Municipality and the regional automotive cluster, we’re creating opportunities for SMEs to become competitive Tier 2 and Tier 3 contributors - building resilience, fostering inclusive growth and shaping a sustainable future for the industry. Selected SMEs will receive hands-on support to refine their strategies and pitch their ideas at a dynamic “Dragons’ Den” event, connecting ambition with opportunity. As Andrew Kirby, President and CEO of TSAM, said: “We are proud to support a programme that not only develops supplier capability but also creates meaningful opportunities for long-term partnerships and sector-wide resilience.” Ready to accelerate your journey? Tier 1 Suppliers and SMEs can email [email protected] to join this transformative programme. #ToyotaSouthAfrica #SMEAcceleratorProgramme #EmpoweringSMEs #EnterpriseDevelopment #SustainableGrowth #AutomotiveExcellence

Don't Risk It, Fix It. In a continued commitment to public safety and customer care, we are launching an enhanced Takata Airbag Recall campaign called Don’t Risk it, Fix it. This is not a new recall campaign, but a revitalised initiative to reach vehicle owners who have not yet responded to previous safety notices. The Takata Airbag Recall remains the largest automotive safety recall in history, affecting multiple manufacturers globally. The Don’t Risk it, Fix it campaign aims to replace all defective airbag inflators from Toyota vehicles manufactured between 2002 and 2017. Your safety is our top priority, and we urge you to check if your vehicle's airbags need to be replaced. Please visit https://lnkd.in/dtxzPjUq or call 0800 139 111 to check your VIN number. You can find out more information about the recall and about our campaign here: https://brnw.ch/21wWNmW
