Time flies when you’re doing the things you love, right? Well yes... but your love of the game is destroying your profits. As many of you know, I run a video agency called A2 Media. There are only 10 of us, and I’m constantly worried about overworking the team. I left corporate to build something fulfilling and fun for everyone involved. That said, understanding how our time is spent is super important to me. I've built over 40 agents that were designed to either help us save time, or at the very least, help me see where our team's time is being spent. Let's just say that I failed 40 out of 40 times 😂. So I scoured the web in search of a tool that smarter, more patient people had created to solve this very big problem of ours. The tool I found was Toggl. With Toggl I can see things like: → Which projects are quietly going over budget while there’s still time to fix them (yes, I actually wrote “quietly” - that's not AI) → Who's at capacity and who’s got room to take on new projects → Insights on how we should use our time even more efficiently With Toggl, you can do what you love, while getting paid enough. Try it out here: https://lnkd.in/gA2Yti2K P.S. I've got discount codes for you 🙋🏿♂️ → For monthly plans, use code "ADEMOLA20" → For yearly plans, use code "ADEMOLA30" Why are you still here!? GO GET IT. #Toggl #TimeIntelligence

There are few more dangerous sentences in client work than: “I’m sure we can squeeze it in” A new project comes through. Everyone is excited. Then you have to work out whether the team can actually deliver it, who is already stretched and whether the numbers make sense. TBH… this is often spread across a few calendars, an outdated spreadsheet and someone’s memory. I have partnered with Toggl, which has spent 20 years building a time tracker people actually use, without screenshots, keystroke logging or webcam monitoring. It has now evolved into a time tracking and capacity planning platform, using the data teams already collect to answer some much more useful questions. Time tracking tells you what happened ➡️ Time intelligence now tells you what to do next. Here is what that changes when you are managing projects and client delivery: 1/ Real-time capacity planning: See who actually has space before committing to a new scope. In other words: “Can we take this on?” 2/ Budget drift alerts: Catch a project going over budget while there is still time to do something about it, rather than discovering it when the invoice goes out. 3/ Profitability clarity: Compare estimates with actuals and billable with non-billable time, without rebuilding a custom spreadsheet every weekend. You can even ask Toggl a plain-language question like “Why did this project go over budget?” and be pointed towards the exact week or task where the hours spiked. Time tracking has traditionally told you what happened. This gives you a much better idea of what to do next. And hopefully makes “we can squeeze it in” a more informed decision 🤓 You can sign up for a free account here: https://lnkd.in/epdGyvDE #TogglPartner #TimeIntelligence

If a client emailed asking for a 30% discount, you'd say no in about four seconds. The bad news is… you're probably already giving them one. You just never got the email. 💀 It goes like this. Quick call, doesn't count. One more revision, doesn't count. Tiny favor, takes an hour, doesn't count. Girl math says if I returned the dress, the shoes were free. Agency math says if the meeting was already happening, the extra deliverable was free. Same math. Same bank account at the end of the month. The hours were always in the tracker. Now the tracker talks back!!! You can now ask Toggl "why did this project go over budget?" and it just... tells you. Better check now than at renewal. https://lnkd.in/daFsVEPM #TimeIntelligence #TogglPartner

If your job is running content, you know everything hinges on capacity. I run Outlever, an owned media company. Our journalists sit down with real people to build real content, and that falls apart if nobody has the room to actually take a project on. I've used Toggl to track my teams for years. Top-rated time tracker, simple to use, and it was never about looking over anyone's shoulder. The problem was the data just piled up. Here's what shifted. It's the same tool I was already running, but now there's an intelligence layer riding on top of it. So when a customer comes to us with a new content sprint, I'm not working off a gut feeling anymore. I can pull up who's slammed and who's got space this week, vacation days already factored in. "Do we have the room for this?" now takes a few seconds to answer, backed by actual numbers. It also finally tells me what things really cost us in hours. Once an interview series wraps, I can type a plain question into Toggl, something like "where did the time go on this?", and it takes me straight to the week that ate up the hours. No exporting, no spreadsheet wrangling. For years, my time data only spoke up after the fact, telling me where hours went once a project was already closed out. Now I'm actually putting it to work. Toggl's time intelligence platform just went live, and it's free to start. Use my sign up link here and discount code MELISSA20 for 20% off for monthly and MELISSA30 for 30% for yearly https://lnkd.in/dE9ThD-z Give it a shot, and tag Toggl when you do. #TimeIntelligence #Togglpartner
