Another milestone for our #transformation. Another important step in putting ACES 2030 into action. Today, we celebrate the #spinoff of tk accelis in Frankfurt. Following thyssenkrupp nucera and TKMS, this marks further progress in transforming thyssenkrupp into a lean financial holding company with strong, independent businesses. Our ambition is clear: greater entrepreneurial freedom, clear responsibilities, and new opportunities for value creation across our portfolio. What does today's listing mean? ▶️ For our #shareholders, this means direct participation in the future business performance and growth in value of tk accelis. With thyssenkrupp AG retaining a 51 percent stake, they also remain indirectly invested in the company. This creates greater transparency and distinct investment opportunities. ▶️ For tk accelis, independence creates greater flexibility to pursue its own strategy and invest in future growth. As one of the world's leading manufacturer-independent materials distributors and #supplychain service providers, the company has a strong foundation: leading market positions in Europe and North America, a global network, and a clear Materials-as-a-Service strategy. ▶️ For the #customers, industrial supply chains are becoming more regional and complex. They need partners to guide them and help them grow – and that’s exactly what tk accelis as an independent company will be able to do with even greater focus. This #listing is not an end in itself. It gives tk accelis the freedom to develop its business independently while thyssenkrupp remains its strategic majority shareholder. My sincere thanks to Ilse Henne, Daniel Wodera, and the entire tk accelis team for their dedication and hard work. Thank you also to Deutsche Börse. And to our shareholders: Thank you for your continued trust. I greatly appreciate your confidence in our transformation as we continue to put our strategy into practice. 📸: martinjoppen.de

thyssenkrupp stands for #democracy, diversity, pluralism, equality, mutual respect and openness to the world. Antisemitism, racism, hatred, exclusion and hostility toward democracy have no place in our company. This applies without exception. For the first time in the history of the Federal Republic of Germany, a politician from a party whose regional branch has been officially classified as a confirmed right-wing extremist organization by the State Office for the Protection of the Constitution has been elected president of a state parliament. This election in Saxony-Anhalt, as well as the exploratory talks in Berlin, are on the minds of many people in our country, including at thyssenkrupp. That is why I want to state clearly once again: antisemitic tendencies and racism of any kind are fundamentally opposed to our values and principles, regardless of which party in Germany they appear in. Likewise, the party program of the AfD, which is now the strongest party in both Saxony-Anhalt and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, largely runs counter to our values. It is the responsibility of the democratic parties and their elected representatives to make a clear democratic stance visible in their concrete actions. This also applies to exploratory talks, coalition negotiations and the allocation of offices. As an internationally active industrial company, we know that jobs, investment and value creation in Germany are closely linked to European integration, international cooperation and an open society. Democracy and openness to the world are therefore more than core convictions. They are essential prerequisites for the future viability of our country and its economy.

Recognize this silhouette? It belongs to Friedrich Krupp – the man who set a 200-year industrial story in motion. ⚒️ On October 8, 1826, 200 years ago, Friedrich Krupp died at the age of just 39. Fifteen years earlier, he had founded a cast #steel factory in #Essen together with two business partners. What began as a small company became the starting point of a long industrial history. After his death, his wife Therese continued the business with the support of their son Alfred and a small team of workers. Alfred Krupp would later transform it into a #global industrial company. Today, we remember the man who set this story in motion. Friedrich Krupp (1787–1826), the only known portrait of the company’s founder. © Historical Archive Krupp, Essen
