Your scripts catch the bugs you expected. Real users find the rest. A script checks the steps someone thought to write down. A broken layout on the next page or an error in the console goes unnoticed when no assertion looks for it. Kane CLI runs bug detection while it executes your flow. It flags unexpected behavior along the way, including outside the steps you asked it to check. How many of last month's bugs did a user report first? I'm a big fan of coding agents. I just don't think they should be the ones deciding their code works. ⠀ Yet almost every team starting its AI SDLC journey makes the same first move: hand all of testing to the coding agent. ⠀ It feels fast. Then four things get hard. ⠀ 1️⃣ Scale: The agent tested on one browser, on one laptop. Real browsers and devices need infrastructure someone has to run. ⠀ 2️⃣ Evidence: The reviewer sees a green check, not which flows ran or where. ⠀ 3️⃣ Collaboration: QA and product can't work on a suite that lives in a developer's terminal. ⠀ 4️⃣ Debugging: When the agent drifts from the requirement, the code works and its own tests pass. Nothing goes red. ⠀ These are the four problems we built KaneAI for: → Runs across browsers and real devices in the cloud → Records every step and screenshot as evidence → Keeps every test in one shared place → Writes tests from the requirement in natural language ⠀ Coding agents speed up the inner loop. Quality still has to be proven in the outer loop. ⠀ If you want to see how it handles your app, give it a spin 👇 https://lnkd.in/d-MZ-T8m ⠀ Or if you'd rather walk through it with our team, grab a time here 👇 https://lnkd.in/d-MZ-T8m ⠀ #KaneAI #AITesting #AgenticAI #SoftwareQuality #CodingAgents #TestAutomation #QualityEngineering #SoftwareTesting

Real device testing is one of those topics that comes up in almost every conversation I have with mobile teams, so we turned it into a full walkthrough. The video covers why apps that pass on an emulator still break on customers’ phones, and what changes when you test on the actual iPhones and Android devices they use. It also shows the full workflow live: picking a device, installing an app, running manual and automated tests, and debugging with crash and device logs, all from a browser. It’s a useful 101 to share with anyone on your team working on mobile quality. Watch the full video: https://lnkd.in/eT-SD9EG #RealDeviceTesting #MobileTesting #TestAutomation #TestMuAI

Pages with ARIA averaged 59.1 accessibility errors. Pages without it averaged 42. That's from the WebAIM Million 2026, a scan of the top one million home pages. ARIA isn't the problem. ARIA nobody tested is: • A div with role="button" the keyboard can't reach • An aria-label that just says "icon" • A menu marked expanded while it's closed Teams are shipping UI faster than ever with frameworks and AI assistants. Accessibility checks can run just as fast: • Ask your AI coding assistant to scan the page through the Accessibility MCP Server and get each WCAG violation with its fix • Run accessibility checks inside your Selenium, Playwright and Cypress tests on every build Who checked the ARIA your team shipped this sprint? California just made “independent AI verification” a legal concept. On Sept 9, SB 813 established a framework for independent AI verification organizations. AB 1405 introduced a state registry for AI auditors. Most people see compliance news. I see an engineering shift. Every mature discipline separates building from verification. Finance has auditors. Aviation has certification bodies. AI agents need the same independent validation. Because policies define expected behavior. Testing provides evidence of actual behavior. My prediction: By the end of 2027, pre-production verification reports will become a standard release gate for agents with access to customer data, financial systems, or other agents. The question is shifting from “Do we have the right guardrails?” to “Can we prove our agents behave as expected before they reach production?” Read the full blog here: https://lnkd.in/gEngycCE

Espresso is one of the most reliable ways to automate Android UI tests. It runs inside the app, waits for the UI to settle on its own, and gives teams fast, stable results. The part teams often overlook is the device those tests run on. Most teams run their Espresso suites on an emulator or a couple of office phones, while their customers use thousands of Android models across dozens of brands. A suite that passes in one place can still miss what happens on a Samsung, a Xiaomi, or a three-year-old Pixel. The teams that get the most from Espresso run the same suite on real Android devices, in parallel, straight from CI, with video and device logs for every session. Our Espresso tutorial covers writing your first UI tests and running them at scale on real devices: https://lnkd.in/gqCQmK2a
