Taiho Oncology, Inc. presents new data from the company-sponsored ASTX030-01 and ASTX727-03 studies evaluating all-oral regimens of azacitidine and cedazuridine or decitabine and cedazuridine in patients with myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML) or acute myeloid leukemia (AML). This data will be shared in two oral presentations at the 67th American Society of Hematology (#ASH) Annual Meeting and Exposition, held on December 6-9, 2025, in Orlando, Florida. “We are pleased to present positive data suggesting that oral azacitidine and cedazuridine in patients with MDS, CMML and AML, and decitabine and cedazuridine in patients with lower-risk MDS may be comparable in safety and effectiveness to frequently used parenteral therapies for those populations,” said Harold Keer, MD, PhD, Chief Medical Officer of Taiho Oncology. We stand alongside leading advocacy organizations, such as the ICAN, International Cancer Advocacy Network, Lung Cancer Research Foundation, GO2 for Lung Cancer, and LUNGevity Foundation, in supporting and advocating for those affected by the disease. These organizations shared how their day-to-day work advances their missions and improves the lung cancer patient experience. “Every day ICAN works to extend life,” said Marcia K. Horn, JD, President and CEO of the International Cancer Advocacy Network. “When we successfully connect patients to clinical trials, Employee Access Programs, molecular profiling and oncology nursing, it’s exhilarating. The impact of advocacy is life-changing, for both patients and everyone who does this important work.” The Lung Cancer Research Foundation continues to lead with a commitment to research so that the world may one day be free of lung cancer. “At the Lung Cancer Research Foundation, research is our North Star,” said Aubrey Rhodes, Executive Director of the Lung Cancer Research Foundation. “We fund innovative, groundbreaking research that accelerates progress – improving outcomes, extending survival and moving us toward a cure." GO2 for Lung Cancer challenges lung cancer on multiple fronts, empowering those who need it most. “Every day, our work ensures no one faces lung cancer alone,” said Laurie Fenton Ambrose, President and CEO of GO2 for Lung Cancer. “We provide compassionate support, drive research, and advocate for resources that empower patients, families and caregivers with hope.” Through research, advocacy and community, LUNGevity is transforming what it means to be diagnosed and live with lung cancer. “At LUNGevity we are creating a world where no one dies from lung cancer,” said Andrea Ferris, President and CEO of LUNGevity Foundation. “We act with compassion and urgency to accelerate breakthroughs in science, empower patients and drive advocacy.” Together, we can work toward improving the lives of those affected by lung cancer, through awareness and action. #TaihoCares #LungCancerAwarenessMonth #LCAM *https://lnkd.in/da4mHKAk

November is Gastric Cancer Awareness Month (#GCAM), a time to acknowledge the urgent need for continued advocacy and research for these diseases. We are grateful to work with leading patient advocacy organizations, including Hope For Stomach Cancer, GI Cancers Alliance, The Raymond Foundation, Inc., Gastric Cancer Foundation, and Debbie's Dream Foundation: Curing Stomach Cancer – to raise awareness, support patients and advance availability of treatment options. These organizations shared how their missions come to life through daily work that uplifts the patient and caregiver community. “As a caregiver and advocate, I founded Hope for Stomach Cancer to ensure no patient or family walks this journey alone,” said Aki Smith, Founder and Executive Director of Hope for Stomach Cancer. “Together, we amplify voices, drive research and create hope.” GI Cancers Alliance fosters collaboration and lifting patient voices to prevent, treat and cure gastrointestinal (GI) cancers. “GI Cancers Alliance is honored to represent our gastric cancer community by amplifying the patient voice through our patient-reported outcomes research and educational programming based on unmet needs,” said Margaret-Ann Simonetta, President of the GI Cancers Alliance. The Raymond Foundation was formed in honor of the Raymond family, with the goal of eradicating GI cancers through research and support. “Founded in 1985, the Raymond Foundation proudly represents the gastric cancer community, providing caregiver-reported outcomes research and developing programs based on gaps in support services and unmet needs,” said Keith Kaplan, Vice President of the Raymond Foundation. Gastric Cancer Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by gastric cancer and accelerating progress toward a cure. “A gastric cancer diagnosis is life-changing news for patients and families,” said Stacie S. Hershman, Executive Director of the Gastric Cancer Foundation. “We offer reliable information and resources to make the journey less lonely and difficult, and fund innovative research to find a cure.” By raising awareness, advancing research funding, and supporting patients, Debbie’s Dream Foundation is changing the future of stomach cancer worldwide. “Debbie’s Dream Foundation supports stomach cancer patients and caregivers with education, advocacy and connection, making sure every voice is heard and every journey is met with compassion, resources and community,” said Jennifer Higgins-Spiers, M.A., Programs Manager at Debbie’s Dream Foundation. With more than 1 million new cases of gastric cancer diagnosed worldwide each year, the need for progress is urgent.
