𝗟𝗡𝗚𝗧 𝗧Ü𝗥𝗞𝗜𝗬𝗘: 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 KARADENIZ LNGT POWERSHIP TÜRKIYE was named at Seatrium’s Admiralty Yard in Singapore last month and will enter FSRU service under Synergy Marine Group’s technical management. Synergy’s involvement in her conversion and commissioning builds on our work with LNGT AMERICAS and LNGT OCEANIA. For LNGT AMERICAS, delivered in 2025, we managed the conversion project on a turnkey basis, covering design, engineering, procurement and site supervision before assuming full technical management. Our LNG conversion record also includes an LNG carrier-to-FSU project completed in 2020. Seatrium carried out LNGT TÜRKIYE’s shipyard conversion for Karpowership. She has 127,594 m³ of LNG storage in Moss-type tanks and can regasify up to 150 million standard cubic feet of gas per day. Our Projects and Lifecycle team works alongside our Gas Carrier Technical Management Division, bringing project knowledge into maintenance planning, crew preparation and support in service. Jesper Kristensen, Group CEO, said: “Karpowership is giving LNG carriers a second working life as gas supply infrastructure for power generation. For me, the test of a conversion is how well the unit serves that new purpose over the years that follow. Our responsibility continues in service, so maintainability and the demands on the crew matter to us from the project stage. I thank Karpowership for its confidence in Synergy.” We thank owners’ representatives Ersen Ayanoglu, Ibrahim Mustafa Duran and Yunus Khatri for working closely with our teams, and Seatrium’s engineering and yard teams for their collaboration throughout the conversion. Our thanks also go to Technical Superintendent Rajeev Jayanth Rayudu, Sr GM (Gas Carriers) Sameer Som Sharma and our Projects and Lifecycle team for their contributions to the project. To Captain Mohamed Hussain Bin Moiz, Chief Engineer Ferdian Syaifoel and all our colleagues on board: thank you for your work in preparing the vessel for service. Our best wishes for safe and successful operations, with the continuing support of our teams ashore.

𝗡𝗬𝗞 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗕𝗔𝗢 𝗠𝗜𝗡 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗗𝗿𝘆 𝗕𝘂𝗹𝗸 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 BAO MIN, a 297,844 dwt ore carrier built in 2010, is one of two vessels to receive NYK’s Dry Bulk Gold Award this year. She is chartered by NYK and managed by Synergy Onyx for Kitaura Kaiun. NYK assesses vessels on Port State Control inspection results, performance under its NAV9000 safety standard and records of accidents and operational troubles. Its revised criteria have made the 2026 award considerably more selective. The award recognises BAO MIN’s two-year record of no detention and no downtime caused by accidents or operational troubles. It follows NYK’s recognition in 2025 of KEY JOURNEY, also managed by Synergy Onyx. Ajay Chaudhry, Co-CEO, Ship Management, said: “NYK applies demanding criteria to the vessels in its dry bulk fleet, and this year’s award was harder to earn than before. A sustained record of safe and reliable operation matters to charterers planning cargoes and to owners protecting the long-term value of their vessels. That record is not the work of one voyage or one crew. We thank NYK and Kitaura Kaiun for their continued trust.” We congratulate Captain Chandravir S. Ranawat, Chief Engineer Mohit Sanguri and every colleague who has served on board, along with the Synergy Onyx team in Pune who have supported the vessel. #WeAreSynergy #DryBulk #ShipManagement #MaritimeSafety

𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲, 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀 Tanker freight is at record levels this week. It is a market in which the pressure to keep ships moving is at its strongest. In an interview for the TradeWinds ship management special report, our Group CEO Jesper Kristensen discusses the decisions facing ship managers while vessels and seafarers remain exposed to conflict in the Middle East. The loss of seafarers across the region, he said, is a reminder that these are decisions about human lives, not simply schedules or cargoes. Those decisions begin with the people on board. “Our standard throughout was that a request to leave would be acted upon rather than argued with. Where seafarers exercised that right, it was respected without detriment to their employment or future assignment.” Jesper also emphasised the Master’s overriding authority and the manager’s responsibility to ensure that the Master has reliable information, direct access to shore leadership and confidence that a safety-based decision will be supported. On the responsibility of a manager when acceptable risk thresholds cannot be aligned with an operating mandate, he said: “The point is not to judge others, but to be clear about our own accountability: where risk to those on board cannot be reconciled with the mandate, we must be prepared to decline the operation or, ultimately, the mandate itself.” The interview also covers vessel-specific threat assessments, GNSS interference and AIS decisions, how additional operating costs should be handled with owners, and Synergy’s long-term view of the region. 𝗗𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝘂𝗲𝗹, 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴-𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 MFM NICOLE, a newly built 39,200 m³ fully refrigerated LPG carrier, joined our managed fleet recently. Asian Shipping S.A. has placed the Singapore-flagged, Lloyd's Register-classed vessel under our technical management through Synergy Maritime Gas Pte. Ltd. Her three IMO Type A cargo tanks can carry LPG and anhydrous ammonia, giving her owner a wider choice of cargoes. Her MAN B&W ME-LGIP main engine can run on LPG as well as conventional fuel oil, so her crew handle LPG as fuel as well as cargo. MFM NICOLE adds to our experience managing LNG, LPG and methanol dual-fuel vessels across gas carriers, container vessels, tankers and bulk carriers. That experience informs how we prepare crews, plan maintenance and advise owners on fuel use and vessel performance. As IMO member states continue negotiations on the Net-Zero Framework ahead of MEPC 85 later this year, owners will need a clear view of how fuel choices affect emissions performance and the long-term economics of their ships. "A vessel ordered today will trade for decades under rules that are still being negotiated. The right fuel decision is the one that holds up across her total cost of ownership, not only her first years in service, and owners need evidence from ships already operating to judge that. Our job is to bring that evidence to their decisions, and to make sure our seafarers have the training and shore support to run these vessels well." Jesper Kristensen, Group CEO, Synergy Marine Group To Captain Chithiravel Velu, Chief Engineer Hemant Kumar and all our colleagues on board: thank you for the expertise and enthusiasm you bring to MFM NICOLE. Your work is central to her performance, and we are pleased to share this moment with you. We thank Asian Shipping S.A. for entrusting her to our care, and our shore colleagues for supporting her crew. Safe voyages to everyone on board. #LPG #DualFuel #ShipManagement #WeAreSynergy

𝗧𝘄𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗴𝗼 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝘄𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗹 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. She was NORD LUNA, a Panamax bulk carrier managed from a small office in Chennai. She has changed hands and names since then, and it is good to see her still in service today. Captain Rajesh Unni founded Synergy that year. Captain Rohit Banta and K S Win were among the first to join him, six months before Nord Luna came under management, and both are still with us today. They took that step on very little more than the idea and the person behind it. In Chennai, colleagues worked together in one room and spoke directly across roles. Captain Unni led with empathy, listening more than he spoke and taking people seriously whatever their position. As Synergy grew, we carried that openness into our offices around the world, along with a sense of responsibility for one another. Years later, he put a wider question to the business. Serving our customers well was the job. But our customers have commitments to charterers, cargo owners and lenders of their own. The performance of their ships affects how well they can meet them. What would it take to help them succeed too? There are now more than 750 ships in our care, across bulk, tanker, container, gas and offshore fleets. Among them is MAERSK FLINDERS, a methanol dual-fuel container ship owned by NKS Canopus (Nissen Kaiun Singapore Group), which came under our management recently. She is a very different vessel from Nord Luna, certainly from the inside, and in that she reflects how much the work has changed. The trust behind both ships, though, comes from the same relationship, twenty years apart. The fleet has grown, but responsibility is still measured ship by ship. That principle sits at the heart of Ship Management 2.0, which brings technical operations and commercial stewardship closer together so that decisions serve each vessel’s performance and what she costs her owner over time. “Owners do not entrust us with a ship because of where we sit in a league table,” says Jesper Kristensen, our Group CEO. “They want to know who is accountable for her, whether her crew will have the support they need, and how our decisions will affect her performance and total cost of ownership over time. Those questions mattered when we had one ship. They matter with more than 750, because each owner still judges us on theirs.” Our thanks today begin with our seafarers. Much of what the Synergy name stands for has been earned by them at sea. We thank the colleagues ashore who support them and each vessel in our care. We are especially grateful to Captain Katsuya Abe and Nissen Kaiun for entrusting a new company with its first ship, and for the trust they have continued to place in Synergy. And to every customer who has placed a vessel in our care over these twenty years, thank you. You have trusted us with your ships and told us plainly when we fell short. Both have made us better.

𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗨 𝗘𝗧𝗦 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 690,218 EU allowances. Every Group-level surrender obligation met ahead of the 30 September deadline. Synergy Marine Group has completed its second EU ETS surrender cycle for the 2025 reporting year. A total of 690,218 EUAs was surrendered in full, matching the amount due. The phase-in now covers 70% of verified 2025 emissions, up from 40% in the first cycle. The figure is the visible result. Behind it were complete vessel data, verified company reporting, allowances in place on time and controlled registry execution, with every position reconciled before surrender. The work was led by Synergy’s Emissions team, supported by vessel and shore colleagues across Marine, Technical, QHSE and Legal. azolla supported EUA procurement. “EU ETS compliance is now part of the operating and financial discipline of ship management. Completing this larger obligation, with every position reconciled before surrender, demonstrates that the process can be applied consistently at scale. We now carry the same standard into the full 2026 reporting-year obligation.” — Vikas Trivedi, Co-CEO, Ship Management, Synergy Marine Group For the 2026 reporting year, the obligation reaches 100% of verified emissions, while methane and nitrous oxide also enter the scope. Preparation is already under way. Our thanks to the teams at sea and ashore whose careful work delivered this result. #EUETS #MaritimeCompliance #ShipManagement #Decarbonisation #WeAreSynergy
