🚀 Volume 18, Issue 20 (October-2 2026) is now online! The latest issue of Sustainability features 466 new open-access articles covering cutting-edge research in sustainability, environmental management, climate action, resource efficiency, and sustainable development. 🐙 Cover Story: Life Cycle Assessment and Nutrient Density of Octopus vulgaris This study explores the relationship between seafood nutrition and environmental sustainability through the case of the common octopus, a key species in Algarve’s artisanal fisheries. By combining Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) with nutrient-density analysis, the authors demonstrate how differences in fishing operations influence both environmental impacts and nutritional value. The findings highlight the importance of nutritional normalization in seafood sustainability assessments and identify fuel efficiency, durable fishing gear, and bait traceability as pathways toward more sustainable small-scale fisheries. 🚀 Volume 18, Issue 19 (October-1 2026) is now online! The latest issue of Sustainability features 555 new open-access articles covering a broad range of topics in sustainability, environmental management, climate action, and resilient communities. Read the full issue 🔗 https://brnw.ch/21x6ovM 🌍 Cover Story: Active transportation, such as walking and cycling, offers important benefits for public health and sustainability. However, people who engage in these activities near traffic are also exposed to air pollution, creating a public health paradox. Based on a survey of active transit users, this study explores how individuals perceive and respond to air quality risks. The findings suggest that while users are aware of these risks and make some behavioral adjustments, air quality is generally not a major factor in their transportation choices. #MDPI #NewIssue #Sustainability #OpenAccess #SustainabilityMDPI
