From electric vehicles and wind turbines to AI data centers and defense systems, critical minerals such as lithium, cobalt, and rare earth elements power the foundations of modern industry. More than 70% of global mining and over 85% of refining are concentrated in one nation, creating supply risks, trade exposure, and strategic vulnerabilities. As China expands export controls, U.S. manufacturers face a pressing challenge: ➡️ What materials are inside our products, where do they come from, and how fast can we pivot if needed? Sustain360°™ enables manufacturers to gain full visibility and control through Agentic AI. The platform maps, traces, and simulates alternative sourcing scenarios to build resilient, transparent, and compliant supply chains. Agentic AI Without a Data Foundation Is Building Intelligence Without a Blueprint. Everyone’s talking about Agentic AI, agents that can reason, plan, and act across complex business processes to a goal. But here’s the truth: without a clear data strategy, it’s not intelligence, it’s improvisation. Before organizations can trust Agentic AI to make decisions, they must build the blueprint for intelligence, a unified, governed data foundation that connects internal (ERP, PLM, SCM) and external (supplier, compliance, sustainability) data. At Sustain360°™, we’ve embedded that blueprint into our platform. Our graph-native architecture brings structure, context, and trust to data, enabling Agentic AI agents to simulate, optimize, and deliver supply chain insights at design. This is how we’re helping U.S. manufacturers transform complexity into clarity, accelerating design, reducing cost, and building resilience into every decision. Because true intelligence isn’t added later, it’s engineered into the data itself. Global manufacturers are under growing pressure to balance cost, speed, compliance, and sustainability in their supply chains. When BFG International, a global leader in composite manufacturing, faced a U.S. client demand for 1,200 fire-protected fiberglass panels under strict timelines and budget constraints, traditional spreadsheet-based modeling fell short. The challenge included tariff impacts, transport exposure, geopolitical risks, and Scope 3 emissions demanding a smarter, faster decision framework. By applying the Sustain360°™ Agentic AI Supply Chain Intelligence platform, BFG was able to simulate both offshore and reshored manufacturing options within days. The result was a defensible business case with $620k savings (9.9% under budget), reduced carbon footprint, elimination of tariff exposure, and strengthened “Made in USA” positioning, all while meeting quality and delivery commitments. Learn how Sustain360°™ transforms supply chain planning from static spreadsheets to proactive design intelligence. Geopolitical tensions, tariff volatility, and mandates such as the CHIPS Act and Executive Order 14017 are accelerating reshoring for U.S. manufacturers. This shift cannot be addressed through operational fixes alone, it requires risk-aware design built into supply chain architecture. Traditional cost-focused planning tools are no longer sufficient to evaluate these systemic risks. Sustain360°™ applies agentic AI to integrate cost, risk, compliance, and environmental factors into a single framework. By mapping networks, generating alternatives, and modeling trade-offs, planners can evaluate scenarios in hours rather than weeks, enabling evidence-based decisions that reduce dependencies and build resilient, future-ready supply chains. Under Executive Order 14415, a hidden sub-tier sourcing dependency can become a direct threat to revenue, working capital, and EBITDA. For defense contractors, a single non-compliant material deep in the supply chain can disrupt production, delay billings, strand work-in-progress inventory, and force costly emergency re-sourcing. With routine commercial non-availability waivers being phased out from January 1, 2027, organizations must evaluate their exposure before the transition deadline. The key financial risks include: - Revenue disruption: Stop-work orders and suspended deliverables interrupt expected cash inflows. - Stranded working capital: Non-compliant components can leave capital tied up in unfinished, unbillable inventory. - Margin erosion: Inventory write-downs, supplier requalification, and expedited sourcing can increase costs and compress EBITDA. - Unplanned capital expenditure: Domestic sourcing transitions may require additional investment in tooling, qualification, and production capacity. For CFOs and finance teams, the challenge is to quantify these exposures before they materialize on the balance sheet. Sustain360° Supply Chain Risk Intelligence enables defense manufacturers to map multi-tier supplier dependencies, trace critical material origins, quantify financial exposure, and evaluate mitigation strategies with greater precision. Supply chain traceability is no longer just a compliance requirement. It is a financial risk management priority. 📑 Read the full blog: https://lnkd.in/dRK2hDJ6 📩 Book a Risk Assessment: https://lnkd.in/gDFbmDHX #ExecutiveOrder14415 #DefenseSupplyChain #SupplyChainRisk #WorkingCapital #FinancialRisk #CriticalMinerals #MultiTierVisibility #DefenseContractors #Compliance #Sustain360
