That gut feeling your website should convert better? You're right. You just can't see why. And that's not a dig. It's just how it works. When you look at your product pages every day, friction points become invisible. Confusing copy sounds fine. A checkout flow that loses customers feels "normal." Money leaks out. And you can't figure out where. Here's what we hear from brands all the time: "There's something blocking people from converting. I just don't know what it is." "We need fresh eyes. Someone who looks at high-performing sites every day." At SplitBase, finding blind spots is what we do. We've run over 10,000 A/B tests for brands like Dr. Squatch, Hyperice, Kiehl's, and Transparent Labs. We know what works because we've tested it. Thousands of times. That's how we helped: → Dr. Squatch add $800,000+/month → Hyperice get 78x ROI on their CRO program → NeuroMD increase conversions by 55.3% We only work with 8 and 9-figure DTC brands. If that's you, book a free CRO Diagnostic with our founder. We'll tell you exactly what's broken and what to fix first. https://lnkd.in/emNdWnHP

Something was stopping visitors from buying. But it wasn't obvious. This supplement brand had a landing page that looked great. Converted okay. Traffic was strong. Yet when they tried to scale ad spend, performance just wasn't "good enough. The problem wasn't the ads. It wasn't the traffic quality. It wasn't even the product. It was 5 hidden friction points that nobody had thought to look for. When we fixed them: → Conversions jumped 16% → Subscriptions jumped 39% The changes weren't what you'd expect. It happened ALL because of my team. No magic trick, no hacks. I just came back from a 2.5 week vacation in Japan, and let's just say as a founder, vacations don't come without stress. My company is my baby, and letting go isn't easy. But while I was OOO, we still managed to: - Sign 3 new clients, 8 & 9-figure brands that are killing it in their respective verticals. - Nail down creative direction for a major site redesign project (that got approved by the client pretty much instantly!) - Launched some of the most complex A/B tests we've ever launched. - Achieved countless test wins (including a test that's adding $70k/mo to a client's website that was a tough nut to crack). - Made huge progress with hiring. - And more importantly, no emergencies requiring my immediate attention. Now I won't lie, I did check my emails, and checked-in with a few clients and team members here and there. But I was mostly hands-off and SplitBase was able to thrive regardless. I've been building this CRO agency for the past decade, and we're officially at the point where we have the best team we've ever had. And I mean it. Sure, we've also got the majority of our processes dialled in, and well, we know what we're doing. Our team has an average tenure of 3+ years, and I've made sure to hire people smarter than me in each department. But today, as a founder, I have a smile on my face knowing that we've built something solid and sustainable, which isn't all reliant on me. So with all that said, major shout-out to my team! P.S. - On that note, if you're an 8-figure brand looking to increase conversions and profit, check us out and book a free CRO diagnostic: https://lnkd.in/ehBJqUqn You can be confident you'll be in good hands :)

Most ecommerce "optimizations" are actually paper cuts. They slowly bleed your revenue dry, and you don’t even notice. Here is the scary pattern I see with almost every $10M - $100M brand I meet: Before they hire us, they spend months "optimizing." A homepage refresh here. A slick new PDP feature there. Maybe implementing "best practices" they saw on a competitor’s Shopify store. The team feels productive. The site looks better. But when we dig into the data? The revenue graph is flat. Or worse. Then, we start working together. Inevitably, the client has a backlog of "improvements" they want to ship immediately. So we test them first. And the results come back negative. "Oh shit." That’s the reaction I hear most often. Because they realize that if we hadn't tested that "improvement," they would have rolled it out blind. They would have permanently lowered their conversion rate, and they wouldn't have known why. This is the dirty secret of ecommerce: most changes are silent revenue killers. You ship a change, conversion drops by 2%, but you blame it on seasonality or ad spend. You never realize you caused it. Here is a stat that should keep you up at night: Only 1 in 7 A/B tests results in a significant win. (Industry standard). Now, you might think, "Those aren't great odds." But think about the alternative. If you aren't testing, you're rolling out all 7 of those ideas. You are baking the failures directly into your website. Testing allows you to keep the 1 winner and trash the 6 losers before they cost you money. That means the vast majority of ideas you have, even the "obvious" ones, are either doing nothing or actively hurting your business. So if you aren't testing, you aren't optimizing. You’re guessing. And when you're doing $50M a year, guessing is expensive. Think of A/B testing less like "growth hacking" and more like insurance. Yes, it finds new wins. But more importantly, it stops you from accidentally setting your own house on fire. — P.S. If you're ready to stop guessing, and start winning with CRO and A/B testing, with a program that increases ecommerce conversions, AOV, and helps reduce CAC... Hit the link to book a free 1-1 Conversion Diagnostic call with me, personally: https://lnkd.in/e4vNtcvq I'll dig into your data and point out your top 3 opportunities for growing revenue through CRO in the next 90 days, just like we did for brands like Amika, Transparent Labs, Kiehl's, Laura Geller, and Dr Squatch.

Six months on a redesign. Looks amazing. Conversion stayed flat. This is the most expensive mistake in e-commerce. Brands rebuild entire sites based on what looks broken instead of what's costing revenue. Here's how it happens: 1️⃣ The project starts with aesthetic problems The site looks outdated. Navigation feels clunky. Design doesn't match competitors. Every meeting focuses on what looks wrong. Nobody researches why people aren't converting. 2️⃣ Decisions get made by opinion Stakeholders vote on designs they like. The team debates colors, layouts, and typography. Conference room preferences drive every choice. Customer behavior data never enters the process. 3️⃣ The redesign fixes visual problems Six months later, you launch. The site is beautiful. Modern, clean, on-brand. Design guidelines followed perfectly. You fixed what looked broken. The conversion barriers remain untouched. 4️⃣ Launch reveals the truth Conversion stays flat. Sometimes it drops. The confusion sets in because the site objectively looks better. The work wasn't wasted. The prioritization was wrong from the start. 5️⃣ The real problems were never addressed Perception gaps at decision points. Missing trust signals where customers hesitate. Unclear value communication. Friction in the buying process. These require research to identify. Session analysis. Customer interviews. Behavioral data. Redesigns built on opinions optimize for aesthetics. Redesigns built on research solve conversion barriers. When you prioritize aesthetics over conversion drivers, the design looks genuinely good while making value communication less clear or burying critical trust signals. Research identifies conversion-specific issues. Addressing them moves the metric. Aesthetic decisions make your site look good in stakeholder meetings. Conversion decisions make your site convert visitors into customers. Before you redesign, understand what's actually broken. Pretty doesn't pay the bills. — P.S. Your website needs a redesign that will both elevate your brand *and* help with conversions? It's achievable with the right team, and with the right methodology. What's a 5% conversion lift actually worth? One beauty brand found out: $1.27M annually. Their VP of Ecommerce thought it would be nice to have. The math showed otherwise. Most brands don't know what small improvements are actually worth to their business. A 5% conversion lift sounds modest. A $15 AOV increase feels incremental. Until you multiply it across your actual traffic. This calculator shows you what those improvements would mean for your specific numbers. Plug in your monthly sessions, conversion rate, and average order value. Takes 30 seconds. See what optimization is actually worth to your business. Calculate it here: https://lnkd.in/e32kNa7i
