Back in May, we brought a group of incredible artists together in Nashville for something we call "Sync Camp". The idea is pretty simple. We give artists a creative brief, send them into the studio, and see what they come back with. Rap. Hip-hop. Pop. Rock. Folk. Different artists. Different styles. Different approaches to the same challenge. But this time, we decided to do something different. We brought cameras. We wanted to capture what actually happens between the brief and the finished song. Because that part has always fascinated me. You start with essentially nothing. A blank page. An idea. Maybe a beat or a guitar riff. Then comes the experimentation. The bad ideas. The good ideas. The writing and rewriting. The recording. The moment when something finally clicks. And somehow, at the end of all of that, there’s a song. To me, that process is kind of magical. So we followed these artists into their studios and captured it all. The result is a mini-documentary about Sync Camp and the creative process behind the music. Seeing the finished film, I was blown away by the talent of these artists and incredibly proud of our team for bringing the whole thing to life - Ryan Stansky, Josh Collum, Jelena Grozdanich, Joey Rotella, Callie Sullivan, Dave Kart, Travis Terrell. There’s something really special about watching real artists create real art. It’s messy. It’s human. And it doesn’t happen with the push of a button. That’s what I love about it. And it’s what Soundstripe is all about. The documentary is officially out. Check it out below and let me know what you think. 🎬🎶

We started a podcast a few months ago. Last week, we published episode 20. The biggest surprise? The podcast itself isn't the most valuable part. It's become a force multiplier for our entire marketing engine. One conversation turns into: • The full podcast episode • Multiple short video clips • Blog content • Social posts • Email content • Content our guests share with their own audiences One recording creates weeks of marketing. Shoutout to our partner Riverside , which makes it super easy to take the podcast content and distribute it across different channels. Across those first 20 episodes, our podcast-related content has generated more than 30,000 impressions across our channels. That's not viral. But it is compounding. Too many companies judge a podcast by downloads alone. I think that's the wrong metric. The real value is how much quality content and reach you can create from a single conversation. Sometimes the best marketing investment isn't another campaign. It's building a content engine. If you're curious what we've been building, check out Soundstripe Sessions on your favorite podcast platform (make sure to "Like and Subscribe" so other people learn about it). We've had some great conversations with leaders across the music, filmmaking, creator economy, marketing, and business. #Podcasting #ContentMarketing #B2BMarketing #MarketingStrategy #ThoughtLeadership #ContentCreation

Did you ever wonder how certain songs end up in your favorite TV shows and movies? On the latest episode of Soundstripe Sessions, I sit down with Jennifer Pyken, a music supervisor who has worked on hit shows like This Is Us, Felicity, Lost, and One Tree Hill, along with films like Reality Bites and Reservoir Dogs. Jen has one of those jobs that makes you think, “Wait, you can actually get paid to do that?” She helps pick the songs that become part of the soundtrack to some of the most memorable moments on screen. Had I known this was a career option when I was younger, I might have followed a very different path. We had a great conversation about what it takes to find the perfect song for a scene. But what I found especially interesting was how collaborative the process is. It’s not just about having great taste in music. You have to understand the story, the emotion of the scene, and the creative team’s vision, then find the song that brings it all together. Pretty cool job if you ask me.
