Data quality is solved. On November 17, we’re showing how. Data quality tools alert you when there’s a data issue. Historically, you then trace the cause, understand what was affected and get it fixed. Soda is changing that paradigm. Join our co-founder Hakim for a 45-minute session, streamed live from New York. We’ll reveal our latest features, so you and your team can, automatically: • Find the data issues you didn’t know to look for. • Understand the cause behind an alert. • Go from finding a problem to approving a fix. Data quality is solved. We're showing how on November 17. When companies invest in data quality, their goal is clear: find issues, understand why they happen, and fix them at the source. Historically, these three goals have not been easy to achieve. That changes today. On November 17, join our co-founder Hakim live from New York City to see how Soda solves Data Quality. We'll show the latest features that help Data teams close the data quality loop. Register for the online event, or join us in New York City. You might already write data contracts, even if nobody calls them that. A data contract says what good data looks like for one dataset. Four parts: - the table it covers - the rule, like "every customer has a country" - the owner who signs it off - a result that shows when it fails Here's how I'd set it up in Soda. The steward proposes the rule in the contract editor, no code needed. The dataset owner approves it. Then it runs on the data, and every proposal and approval stays on record. The person who knows the rule writes it. The person who owns the data signs it off.

If your steering committee asked for data quality numbers tomorrow, which could you show without a spreadsheet? A data contract is the agreement for one dataset: the rules it must meet, and a pass or fail every time it is checked. In Soda, stewards propose rules and the dataset owner approves them. Then governance becomes counts. Critical datasets with a contract. Datasets with rules in place. Rules passing. Failing rules per owner. Most governance reports still carry a colour. Amber, usually. The guide has a section for governance teams on tying rules to owners and domains.
