What happens after a nonconformance is identified? Documenting the issue is only the beginning. The next steps - assessing its impact, conducting an appropriate investigation, identifying the root cause, and determining whether a CAPA is required - are what turn an isolated quality event into an opportunity for meaningful improvement. On September 29, I’ll be hosting a 30-minute webinar covering how nonconformances, investigations, and CAPAs work together as part of a structured quality management process. We’ll discuss: ✓ How to document and assess nonconformances ✓ How to conduct structured investigations ✓ How to move from symptoms to root causes ✓ When a formal CAPA should be initiated ✓ How to verify effectiveness before closure 📅 September 29 at 2:00 PM CDT Register here: https://lnkd.in/g9JeGsnz #QualityManagement #CAPA #RootCauseAnalysis #LifeSciences #eQMS SimplerQMS

Most early-stage QMS problems don’t begin with a failed audit. They start much earlier and much more quietly. The scope is never formally defined. SOPs are written reactively as new needs emerge. Ownership remains unclear. Teams introduce multiple quality processes before the foundations supporting them are ready. By the time those weaknesses become visible, the organization may already be dealing with duplicated documentation, outdated procedures, inconsistent training, and significant rework. Next week, I’ll be leading a SimplerQMS webinar on how early-stage life science companies can establish that foundation. We’ll cover how to define an appropriate QMS scope, structure the documentation hierarchy, and prioritize the core quality processes that should come first. 📅 September 16 at 2:00 PM CEST Register here: https://lnkd.in/eHWUD97E A strong QMS foundation doesn’t require implementing every possible process from day one. It requires clear boundaries, a deliberate documentation structure, defined ownership, and the right implementation sequence. Document control comes first because every process that follows depends on controlled, current, and traceable information. If your organization is building or formalizing its QMS, join me next week for a practical session on getting the foundation right from the start. #LifeSciences #QualityManagement #QMS #eQMS

An early-stage QMS should create control, not complexity. Too often, life science companies try to implement everything at once. The result is usually an oversized system that is difficult to adopt, maintain, and scale. The real challenge is knowing where to begin. On September 16, Martin Choleski will share how to define the right QMS scope, structure your documentation, and prioritize the processes your organization actually needs. Training records should do more than show that someone completed a task. In life sciences, organizations need a structured way to connect employee training with roles, controlled documents, revisions, retraining, and evidence of competence. Join Thomas Tschirhart, Director of Sales at SimplerQMS, for our upcoming 30-minute webinar on Training Management in Life Sciences. Thomas will cover practical approaches to: → Build role-based training processes → Manage retraining when controlled documents change → Maintain traceable, audit-ready training records → Identify overdue training and competency gaps → Connect training management with document control 📅 August 25th, 2PM CT (Central US Time) ⏱️ 30 minutes Register here: https://lnkd.in/e3Y_s-eS #TrainingManagement #LifeSciences #QualityManagement #eQMS #EmployeeCompetence
