In every fast-growing financial services org, there comes a moment when the systems that once worked can no longer carry the weight of expansion. Trading 212 reached that inflection point—and chose to redesign how oversight should function at scale. They needed a compliance foundation that could think, adapt, and expand with the business. Sedric enabled exactly that. The outcomes speak for themselves: • Broader review coverage delivered without additional headcount • A quieter, more efficient operation, freed from manual bottlenecks • Higher precision, reducing the risk hidden in high-volume environments • Rules that adapt globally, yet respect the nuance of each market • Faster affiliate and partner approvals, supporting confident growth • A compliance architecture built to scale, not strain This isn’t just automation—it’s a more intelligent model for governance, one that evolves with complexity instead of being overwhelmed by it. If your organization is rethinking how to protect growth while accelerating it, this perspective from Trading 212 offers a clear view of what’s possible. Grateful to Alkistis Gkiosi for sharing this experience of working with Sedric and partnering with us on the journey.

Many leaders in financial services treat compliance like a brake pedal. But that's exactly the point. According to Upstart’s Chief Risk Officer, Annie Delgado—it's having good brakes that give you the confidence and safeguards to drive fast. In our newest podcast episode of Beyond the Fine Print, Annie sits down with Sedric's Remy Rosen to explore how compliance becomes a growth engine when you build it into the product from day one. Listen now: https://lnkd.in/gVSxikdj In this 30-minute episode you’ll learn: Actionable explainability: How to go beyond model forms so adverse action notices actually tell consumers what to do next—building trust instead of frustration. First-principles risk design: A practical lens (transparency, fairness, explainability, privacy) that stands up across shifting state/federal scrutiny. Regulator strategy that works: Bring data, show your mitigation plan, and invite dialogue early—don’t hide. Turning compliance into product velocity: Get in at ideation, bring options (not roadblocks), and learn the tools your teams use. Culture, not checklists: How to embed responsible AI into everyday decisions so it scales with the business. #ResponsibleAI #Fintech #Compliance #RiskManagement #Lending #RegTech #ProductManagement

This one's been a long time coming, and I couldn't be prouder to finally share it: WebBank has been running on Sedric for a while now, and already seeing massive value. WebBank is "The Bank Behind the Brand®," a fintech-forward pioneer that's funded over $283B in credit products. It's now using Sedric to review and approve partner marketing at scale, without compromising the standards regulators expect. I'll let Aaron Blankenstein, their Chief Compliance Officer, put it better than I can: "At WebBank, we prioritize innovation and compliance in equal measure. Our partnership with Sedric enables us to streamline the review and approval of marketing content, enhancing our agility while maintaining the highest compliance standards." That's exactly the balance we set out to build: compliance and innovation as partners, not trade-offs. To Aaron and the entire WebBank team, thank you for your partnership. Glad to finally say it out loud. Read the full post: https://lnkd.in/e9W-7JP5

One of the most important questions financial institutions should be asking about AI right now is not how powerful it is. It is how explainable it is. In financial services, every compliance decision must stand up to scrutiny. Regulators, auditors, and internal risk teams all ask the same question: Why did the system make this decision? If the answer is a black box, the technology is not ready for regulated environments. This is why explainable and auditable AI is becoming foundational to modern risk and compliance infrastructure. Institutions need systems that not only detect risk, but can clearly show the policy triggered, the reasoning behind the decision, and the regulatory context. Our CTO, Eyal Peleg, explored this challenge in a recent Forbes Technology Council article on why explainable AI must power risk and compliance in finance. Worth the read for anyone thinking seriously about deploying AI in regulated environments. Full article: https://lnkd.in/eJ7a-FkS
