If your waste hauler says you’re ‘doing fine’ but your costs keep rising, either they’re wrong - or your data is. Manual audits, generic hauler reports, and siloed spreadsheets can’t show you where money is leaking upstream - because they weren’t built to. Scrapp plugs into the same systems you already use - ERP, invoices, hauler APIs - and surfaces every hidden fee, every overweight load, every off-spec material. The result? Up to 60% cost reduction in 90 days, compliance reports that export in minutes, and supplier negotiations backed by live data instead of hunches. If this will be helpful for you, your next step is a free Upstream Waste Assessment. In just 30 minutes, you’ll get a tailored Waste Savings Report showing: - Exactly where waste costs are leaking in your operations - Which quick fixes deliver the fastest ROI - How audit-ready you are for EPR, CSRD, and other regulations Even if we don’t uncover meaningful savings, you’ll still leave with a clear plan to cut costs and strengthen compliance. That’s the same first step manufacturers and global brands like Avon and Beech-Nut took. And it’s where they discovered savings worth $50K+ a year on their waste alone.

It's 8 p.m. and you're still hunting for last quarter’s hauler invoices because the CFO needs ESG numbers by morning. Spreadsheets don’t match. Auditors are circling. And the waste bill just crept up again. Now imagine the same manager opening a single dashboard that already pulled every purchase order, every disposal ticket, every cost - accurate to the penny. She exports the compliance report in two clicks, shuts her laptop, and heads home early. And the next morning, your CFO walks into the boardroom with audit-ready data, credible sustainability claims, and hard savings to protect the budget. That’s life with Scrapp. We connect upstream procurement to downstream disposal so you see leaks before they become line items. Procurement gains leverage, sustainability gains credibility, and finance gains savings that drop straight to the bottom line. Beech-Nut cut packaging disposal queries by 85% and proved recyclability claims regulators now cite as best practice. Your first step is a free Upstream Waste Assessment. From a 30 minute call, we’ll build you a custom Waste Savings Report showing: - Where hidden costs are leaking into your waste bill - Which quick fixes deliver the fastest ROI - How audit-ready you are for EPR, CSRD, and other upcoming regulations Even if you don’t move forward with us, you’ll leave with a clear plan you can act on straight away. Many of the companies we work with - like Beech-Nut, Avon, and Microsoft - started here. Book your assessment today and see what you might be missing.

If your waste bill jumped 35% last year and you still can’t say why, this will clue you in. Most companies think they’re “managing waste.” In reality, they’re flying blind - relying on hauler invoices that hide mark-ups, spreadsheets that never match reality, and audits that are outdated the moment they’re printed. The result? Money hemorrhaging upstream, compliance risk piling up, and zero leverage with suppliers. Scrapp is here to be your “waste accountant.” We plug directly into your purchase orders, invoices, and hauler reports - so you see every material, every cost, every risk in real time. No more snapshots. No more guesswork. One manufacturer saw a 35% spike in waste spend. Scrapp traced it to a single hauler clause, renegotiated the contract, and cut the bill by 30% overnight. Avon used the same system to divert 10 tons of packaging from landfill and slash six weeks of data work. In 90 days you’ll flip from reactive firefighting to proactive control - cutting waste costs up to 60%, automating ESG/EPR reports, and walking into supplier meetings with bulletproof data. Book a free Upstream Waste Assessment and we’ll build you a custom Waste Savings Report showing: - Where your biggest cost leaks are hiding - Which fixes deliver the fastest ROI - How prepared you are for upcoming ESG/EPR regulations It’s 30 minutes, no obligation. If we don’t uncover savings, you’ll still leave with a clear plan you can use in-house. That’s exactly how companies like Avon and Beech-Nut started - and the savings they uncovered changed everything.

$11 billion in recyclable materials hits landfills every year... and some businesses think burning it is the solution? 🤔 Had another conversation today where a business thinks Waste-to-Energy (WtE) is their ticket to becoming zero-waste... we need to talk about this! WtE has its place - I get it. But making it your main zero-waste strategy? The numbers just don't add up. If we're throwing $11B worth of recyclable materials into landfills every year, is there not a bigger opportunity at play here? Here's what bugs me about the WtE-only approach: ♾️ It assumes an infinite growth on finite resources: we can't keep burning our way out of things and call it sustainable. It perpetuates this idea of 'away' that takes valuable assets out of the system. 🌫️ Those emissions though... 😬 Even with fancy filters, WtE plants still release harmful GHGs. Recent studies show we could cut emissions in HALF by going circular instead. 🪵Waste = Resource Smart money is on recycled materials becoming cheaper than virgin ones soon. Between shrinking landfill space, rising taxes, and tighter regulations, businesses that aren't preparing now will be playing catch-up later. Here's my challenge to you: When planning your zero-waste strategy, ask yourself - if every business did what we're doing, would our planet thank us? 🌍 #Sustainability #CircularEconomy #ZeroWaste #BusinessInnovation What's your take on WtE? We built a recycling app. Then realized recycling wasn't the answer ⤵️ We started as an app that allows you to scan the barcode of a product anywhere in the world and learn how to recycle it based on your local rules. We learned that consumers putting waste in the right bin was a small (albeit significant) part of the waste journey. Our app still exists and we're continually improving it to help citizens around the world go zero-waste. But 80% of a product's impact is made in the upstream. We've spent years building an intricate system that enables us to identify and monitor waste at the barcode-level around the world. The app on its own felt like we were building a 'bigger bucket' and not 'turning the tap off at the source' of the problem. In reality, we need both to exist. Waste data (eg. hauler reports or invoices) is notoriously inaccurate, difficult to get a hold of - and sometimes - non-existent. Fantastic solutions like Greyparrot, Polytag Limited, Danu Robotics and Recycleye are changing this narrative. But for most businesses, that is too far out of their control. Which means missed savings, and unrealised value from their misallocated resources. So we thought, "why not change our solution focus on the upstream, where 80% of the product's impact can be had?"... ...where we have already built a system that can change the course of waste generation by several magnitudes more? This is why we focus on the upstream. Optimize for waste reduction at the start of the journey, and design it out of the system to begin with. Whether you distribute it onto supermarket shelves or produce it through your own operations. The upstream has: better data quality + higher data velocity + more data volume = bigger impact potential. So this is Scrapp now - and where we sit in the value chain. We've helped businesses identify where they can reduce their impact by 37%, just by having more waste intelligence in the upstream. If you're a business who wants more agency with their waste, and more margin in their pocket, let me know. Here to help. #WasteReduction #ZeroWaste
