Before a beauty product hits the market, its claims need to hold up to regulators, retailers, advertising standards, and of course consumers. Here is a 10-point checklist for launching in the EU and what that means for packaging artwork accuracy.

One TVT customer used to spend 12 hours proofreading legal mentions by hand. Now it takes 15 minutes. That's 48x faster — time other teams are still spending on a single review cycle. Speed isn't the whole story. But it's a big part of who gets to market first. Read their story.

When it comes to artwork production of the primary and/or secondary packaging, five people can each do their job perfectly, and the approved artwork file still goes to print wrong. It could be that someone revisits an unlocked artwork file to tighten one line of copy. No tracked changes, audit trail. They don't realize that exact line was the one regulatory had already cleared, to ensure the product label is compliant for that specific market. The product launch team is on pace with deadlines. Regional marketing is localizing language and making sure claims etc. land culturally, market by market. The agency is executing the creative, activations etc. and needs to be told, clearly, exactly what isn't allowed to move. BUT still... nobody catches that one exception before print. Five different teams touch the same file before it ships, and each does its job well but working on their own section. The cost isn't abstract either. Miss making an allergen BOLD on the label for one set of regulatory rules, or print a barcode that won't scan, then supply chain and your retail partnership is impacted. This is what worries me: verification is maybe one month inside a launch, so it gets very little attention until the product gets pulled or disposed of due to label non-compliance. ✅ What actually closes that gap is an automated line by line check of the artwork proof as a whole before anyone approves and sends it to print. Call it your Quality Assurance. That's the check TVT by Schlafender Hase was built to run... it works to compare every specification sheet from your technical specialists, each artwork version against the final proof and flag that to a human who accepts or rejects before anything gets printed. It connects to your existing Artwork Management System, or Project Management tools to work how you work without forcing a whole new system on the organization. ✅ Text, required formatting, images, claims, brand guidelines, regulatory frameworks.🐇 Who is holding that job on your team right now? Tell them to get in touch with me. Let's make their job easier.

"We caught it." Great. But how? If the answer is a sharp-eyed reviewer on their third read-through, that's not a process. That's luck. And luck doesn't scale across languages, formats and dozens of label versions. It doesn't hold up in an audit either. Join Grace Hill (ReAlta Life Sciences), Anna Hanzlíková (A-REG Solutions) and Anna Kispal (Schlafender Hase) for a 30-minute discussion on building a review process you can repeat and defend at every stage of the regulatory lifecycle. It passed every review. So why did it fail at submission? Because sign-off isn't the same as certainty. A change slips in between versions. A translation drifts. A symbol gets swapped during artwork rework. And nobody spots it until the health authority does. In this 30-minute webinar, Grace Hill (ReAlta Life Sciences), Anna Hanzlíková (A-REG Solutions) and Anna Kispal (Schlafender Hase) discuss how regulatory teams can control content accuracy from first draft to final submission. Labelling review should be plural, not singular!
