What may look like a standardized concept in a rollout is rarely identical in execution. Different dimensions, floor plans, and structural conditions often require individual adjustments. This is where lot size one comes into play. Each component can be manufactured to suit the specific project, even when dimensions, contours, and processing requirements vary. In our cutting center, we process up to 5,000 components per day. 💪 What may sound highly technical at first delivers tangible benefits: 👉 Greater flexibility across different locations 👉 Individual solutions within a consistent design 👉 Efficient processes despite a wide range of variants 👉 Custom-fit execution for each project This allows recurring concepts to be rolled out efficiently while still being adapted to the specific conditions of each individual location. 😉

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚 𝐡𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬. In hotel construction, a model room reveals early on whether a concept not only looks good but also works in everyday life. At the same time, it highlights where planning, technical requirements, or interfaces don’t yet mesh seamlessly—and that’s where the real work begins. 👉 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐭 Proportions, surfaces, and design details appear differently in a real space than they do in a rendering. Added to this is the practical side: Furniture must be manufacturable, installable, and suitable for later use. 👉 𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐬 Dimensions, connections, and design details can be adjusted early on The interplay between furniture construction, technology, and other trades also becomes tangible. What is clarified at this stage won’t have to be revisited room by room later on. 👉 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 Different solutions can be directly compared and further developed. The key is not to choose the cheapest option, but rather a variant that sensibly balances design, function, quality, and budget. 👉 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐝 Once approved, it’s clear exactly how the room should look and function. The insights gained are then incorporated into manufacturing, logistics, and installation, thereby creating a reliable foundation for the rollout.

HEY! From October 5 to 7, Melisa Cagran and André Leibacher will once again be attending EXPO REAL (Messe München) 2026. They will be bringing plenty of topics that also play an important role in our day-to-day project work. New concepts, changes to existing properties, current developments in the real estate industry, and the question of how ideas ultimately turn into real projects. Most of all, they are looking forward to what makes a trade show truly worthwhile. Reconnecting with familiar faces, making new contacts, and taking the opportunity between meetings to exchange ideas over a coffee and talk about projects, experiences and current topics. 😉 👉 If you are also attending EXPO REAL and would like to connect, you can schedule a meeting directly here: https://lnkd.in/eE5nDUjg 👈 #exporeal2026 #interiorfitout

𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐝: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝 𝐎𝐧𝐞, 𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐛𝐨𝐧 The interior fit-out of The Cloud One Lisbon brought together quite a few challenges: tiles, oak, solid brass and brickwork, combined with custom-made components, multiple trades and demanding logistics right 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲. At the same time, the rooms, suites, lobby, courtyard and rooftop were each meant to have their 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫. To make sure this complexity didn’t turn into unnecessary coordination work for our client, we clarified the key questions early on. 👉 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐦𝐨𝐜𝐤-𝐮𝐩. This allowed us to technically develop and prepare custom components in advance. The mock-up room then became the reference for the rollout of all 88 rooms and suites. 👉 𝐄𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐚 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜 𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬. Take the arches in the lobby, for example: each brick weighs around five kilograms, and the curved geometry required a specially milled template. These are exactly the kinds of details you work through together beforehand — before they ever become an issue on site. 👉 𝐋𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞. Large delivery vehicles were hardly an option in central Lisbon. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐱𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭-𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐞-𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐛𝐚𝐫, 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞, 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐟 𝐛𝐲 𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐞. For our client, what matters in the end is that all the individual elements come together as one — while the overall process remains manageable. The more complex the execution, the more important it is to clarify interfaces and make decisions early on that everyone involved can rely on.
