Hi %FIRSTNAME%, Finding a coding platform that's safe for students, simple to set up, and doesn't stretch your budget shouldn't be hard. That’s why we created Code Classroom, a free platform built especially for schools that gives you the tools you need to teach programming in one secure place. Made for the classroom Completely free, with no licences to buy, no trial periods, and no budget sign-off needed Safe by design, with a secure, school-appropriate environment and no ads or open messaging Built for schools based on real teacher feedback, so every feature is designed around how teachers and students actually work Up and running in minutes There's no software to install and nothing for your IT team to manage. Everything runs in the browser, so you can set up your classes, add your students, and be ready to teach in your very next lesson. Classroom and learning management that saves you time Create and organise classes in a few clicks Assign work and share starter projects with your whole class in seconds Track progress from one simple dashboard Give feedback directly within students' work so they know exactly how to improve Three ways to learn, one platform The Blocks editor is built on the open-source Scratch platform and is great for beginners. You can even upload existing Scratch projects. The Python editor takes students from their first lines of text-based code to the skills they'll need to study computer science further. The web editor lets students design and build their own web pages with HTML and CSS. With all three editors under one login, you can support all your students, whatever their experience and confidence with coding.

Myth or fact? 🤔 Test what you know about teaching AI literacy. Experience AI offers free, classroom-ready resources for learners aged 8 to 16. They're designed for educators in any subject, and you don't need a computer science background to get started.

Teachers know their students need to understand AI. But where does AI literacy fit in an already crowded curriculum? We don't think the answer is to make it the responsibility of computing teachers alone. AI is already encountered in many aspects of young people's lives and is being applied across society — raising questions that connect with geography, art, media literacy, science, ethics, and many other areas of learning. So we've been exploring a different approach with Experience AI: Start with what educators already teach. Our new free resources use real-world topics to create opportunities for AI literacy across the curriculum. 🌍 Exploring climate? Investigate how AI systems are used in flood forecasting. 📱 Talking about social media? Help learners understand recommendation systems and the relationship between their online activity and the content they see. 🔎 Developing critical thinking? Investigate claims made about AI. 💬 Discussing generative AI? Explore how large language models work. It's an approach that gives educators flexibility to make connections that work for their subject and their learners — without needing to be an AI or computer science specialist. And subject experts see the value of bringing different perspectives to AI literacy too: “If AI literacy is left solely to STEM subjects or computer science, we lose the opportunity to ask deeper human, cultural, and ethical questions—questions that art is uniquely equipped to explore.” — Professor Geoff Cox, Professor of Art and Computational Culture, London South Bank University AI literacy belongs across the curriculum.
