DOWNLOAD OUR LATEST BENCHMARK REPORT In 70% nitric acid, the six grades we tested performed closely. In amines and steam, they didn't. That gap is the reason to specify by chemistry rather than by material family. The report has side-by-side immersion data on three Perlast grades and three competitor grades, tested externally. Download the benchmark report.

DOWNLOAD OUR LATEST BENCHMARK REPORT 168 hours in steam at 250°C. Competitor grades A and B were destroyed. All three Perlast grades outperformed them in the same test, run side by side on BS 214 O-rings by an external test house. The magnified images of each sample after ageing are in the report. DOWNLOAD OUR LATEST BENCHMARK REPORT Two the three competitor O-ring grades we tested were destroyed after 168 hours in steam at 250°C. All three Perlast grades outperformed them. Same conditions, same BS 214 O-ring size, tested side by side by an external test house. The magnified images of every sample are in the benchmark report, along with the acid and amine results.

DOWNLOAD OUR LATEST BENCHMARK REPORT Six perfluoroelastomer grades, three Perlast and three competitors, immersed side by side in nitric acid, ethylenediamine and steam. In acid the results were close. In amines and steam they diverged sharply, including between the Perlast grades themselves. Worth reading before your next material sign-off. Download the benchmark report.

DOWNLOAD OUR LATEST BENCHMARK REPORT Pure ethylenediamine, 168 hours, 100°C. Perlast G80A held its properties better than the other five grades in the test. G80A is rated 1 for amines, alkalis, and water and steam. G77X and G75B both sit at 3 for amines. Grade selection does the work here, not the material family. Download the benchmark report for the immersion charts.
